Stock Market Gurus:

How do I find out if short sellers are driving a stock down? What data should I be looking at? I have an account with online brokerage.

There is a % short metric for most tickers. I usually go to finance.yahoo.com for ticker data. There is an api also if you want to set up some basic screens in code for stuff you don't like.
Here is the page:

GDRX Put/Call Volume Ratio 0.27 means there are more bulls than bears.

Without knowing the fundamentals, I would say it's oversold in the short term, just bounced off the .618 fib @ 32.18. I would place a buy order, stop 31, sell limit 38.

Alternatively if your bullish on the stock, you can write next weeks put @ 29 for accumulation, conversely, if you own the stock, sell a covered call next week @ 39 if there's any premium.

I don't understand what put and call mean. I kinda understand what you are saying. Thanks for the response.

What do you think about ASAN?

Puts are contracts for hedging/shorting, which implies a stock it'll go down.
Calls are contracts for bullish bets placed on a stock which implies it'll go up.

It gets a little complicated....Best of luck!
