They must represent huge sunk costs at this point. That's a lot of money keeping all those lies afloat. Lies are terribly inefficient to keep going, because maintaining consistency is impossible over time. Truth is cheaper to promulgate.

No. If you can stomach it, go watch a "news" and only pay attention to who their advertisers are.

It's been 20 years since I've done this, but back then, advertisements for Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, drugs which they told you to ask your doctor about but they never explained what the fucking drug was for - a bunch of commercials that wouldn't get anybody in their right mind to buy their product. This is how they bribe "news" not to talk about problems in pharmaceutical products and to promote war - at least back then.

I remember in the 1990's when I first saw television anchors showing up in films, thinking "this is beneath them, their job is to report the NEWS not to peddle this grade B science fiction film" - before I woke up to realize they never reported the news and had always been actors.
