The new mask recommendations are a disgraceful debacle, doomed to fail...again

As soon as politicians, media members and incompetent and terrified “experts” became ideologically committed to ineffective interventions, they could never end.

The CDC has been the most reliable and consistent contributor to destructive and functionally useless mask recommendations. They’ve used unconscionably bad, dangerously incompetent and misleading “studies,” along with hilariously useless “hairdresser” examples to “prove” mask efficacy. Finally though, after throwing out their own pre-pandemic planning documents to promote a policy with no demonstrable benefits, the CDC displayed confidence in the “safe and effective” vaccines and removed their useless mask guidelines just two and a half months ago.

And yet. It’s all happening. The CDC flip flopped again. Masks are back.

Many of us arguing against lockdowns and masks and other related and equally ineffective “mitigations” have been pointing out for months now that the CDC has been unbelievably bad at their literal one job. We’ve been pointing out that the CDC’s credibility has been irreparably damaged based on their demonstrable incompetence and ever changing messaging with unchanging certainty. But no one, and I mean no one, could have foreseen that the death blow to the CDC’s credibility would come from the CDC itself.

I guess it shouldn’t be as surprising as it is that they put the final nail in their own coffin, but somehow their devotion to pseudoscience never ceases to amaze.

Bringing back masks is the end. It has to be. They were unequivocal in their assertions that the available vaccines were remarkably effective at preventing infections and transmission, symptomatic illness, severe cases and ultimately deaths.

Yesterday’s announcement is completely incompatible with their previous statements and should be an inescapable disaster for the country’s trust in “public health” and what the CDC, Fauci and others laughably refer to as “science.”

So let’s go over this unfolding debacle!

April 1
INTELLIGENCER HEADLINE: “CDC Data Suggests Vaccinated Don’t Carry, Can’t Spread Virus”
Got that? No hemming and hawing, no uncertainty, no “don’t spread the virus as much,” it literally says that the vaccinated CAN NOT SPREAD THE VIRUS. CAN NOT. It’s not possible for them to spread it, that’s what the “data” says.

Here’s a direct quote from the CDC director, Dr. Rochelle Walensky:

“Vaccinated people do not carry the virus — they don’t get sick,” Dr. Rochelle Walensky, director of the CDC, told MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow on Tuesday. That’s “not just in the clinical trials, but it’s also in real-world data.”

They do not carry the virus and do not get sick. Focus on the “they do not carry the virus” part for a second. If vaccinated people can’t carry it, how can they spread it?

They can’t! That’s what the CDC says:

Walensky was referring to a new CDC study that suggests those fully inoculated with the vaccines produced by Moderna and Pfizer don’t transmit the virus.

So naturally,

“The authorized vaccines are the key tool that will help bring an end to this devastating pandemic.”

They are the key tool. Masks used to be, of course, but now vaccines will end the pandemic. Let’s keep that in mind. ...

July 27
CNBC Headline: “CDC reverses indoor mask policy, saying fully vaccinated people and kids should wear them indoors”
There it is. The destruction of any remaining shreds of credibility the CDC and Fauci had left.

So what was the justification for this dramatic shift? The delta variant! The same variant that Fauci said the vaccines did “very well” against. ...

Freedom and Religion.

Actually it's "liberty and justice". Many immigrated to America to get away from religion.

And liberty and justice have been trampled on in America.

One thing that defines a religion is what it says you should and should not put into your body. Most religions have their dietary and bodily purity laws. When CDC recommendations (they do recommend vaccines for individuals don’t get me wrong) and guidelines are enforced, we get the “establishment of religion” prohibited by the constitution. Don’t forget, religious freedom also means nonbelievers have the right to not participate in a religion. Claim your religious freedom from the Church of Deceptive Countermeasures today!

There's religious exemptions, but not RATIONAL exemptions.

This is true. You can't get a death jab exemption based on reason, only based on things you can't prove at all.

But seriously. In theory at least you can rightfully file a religious accommodation claim without being religious, because “sincerely held moral beliefs” also count.

https://www.eeoc.gov/laws/guidance/questions-and-answers-religious-discrimination-workplace

Religious beliefs include theistic beliefs (i.e. those that include a belief in God) as well as non-theistic “moral or ethical beliefs as to what is right and wrong which are sincerely held with the strength of traditional religious views.”

Perhaps for example you think it is wrong to comply with an order that violates a basic human right?

In any case I agree the Propaganda masters are trying to spin this as a matter of scientific fact vs irrational belief, so they want to make you think you need to confess your irrationality to preserve your right to refuse medication. But it’s really a matter of irrational CDC dogma vs common sense.

The fact is, you can refuse to follow the CDC’s proclamations as a matter of religion, science, or sincerely held moral principle.

@Undoctored

In practice, 100% of “sincerely held moral beliefs” are denied.

Learned this from a religious exemption workshop I attended. The law is irrelevant because it is completely ignored by appointed officials and there is zero recourse. They have absolute power, and they are almost entirely Democrats.

This just in:

https://www.cdc.gov/media/releases/2022/s0901-covid-19-booster.html

The following is attributable to Dr. Walensky:

“The updated COVID-19 boosters are formulated to better protect against the most recently circulating COVID-19 variant. They can help restore protection that has waned since previous vaccination and were designed to provide broader protection against newer variants. This recommendation followed a comprehensive scientific evaluation and robust scientific discussion. If you are eligible, there is no bad time to get your COVID-19 booster and I strongly encourage you to receive it.”

Wasn’t Dr Walensky recently quoted as saying the CDC had been a too “optimistic”? Has she learned her lesson? Well for one now there’s no actual claim of efficacy at all, not 95% not even 30% just some vague “help restore protection.” But there’s been a “robust” scientific discussion. Wait shouldn’t we ask our doctor if it’s right for us first? Oh, “there is no bad time” huh? You don’t know a thing about me but you “strongly urge” me to take it? I mean wow if they were recklessly optimistic before what’s this?

What would Jesus do? Well, he did work with lepers, unvaccinated, without a mask.

Well to be fair, if Jesus is what he supposedly was, he was pretty much immune.

Give me super powers and I'll freely work with lepers and homosexuals with monkeypox, and do it with no income with no fear of starvation. Probably would be a bad idea to give me this power, I'd make it illegal to kill spiders and roaches probably - after all, they are god's creatures too. I'd go crazy with super powers.

I had a kind of Buddhist phase about 20 years ago, and stopped killing spiders because it seemed like bad karma. I've continued that. We have clear plastic cups and postcards to capture them and toss them out a window.

But I continued to kill mosquitoes and have no regrets about that.

Department of Transport lawyers coached airlines on how to reject Canadians’ requests for vaccine waivers on religious grounds, according to Access To Information memos. Even passengers with legitimate claims were to be challenged every time they switched flights, wrote staff: “These types of exemptions are anticipated to be granted very rarely.”

https://babylonbee.com/news/cdc-warns-of-new-stealth-covid-variant-where-you-test-negative-and-get-no-symptoms

ATLANTA, GA — CDC Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky held a press conference to warn the public about a deadly new "stealth" COVID-19 variant that causes negative test results and causes no symptoms.

"This deadly variant has bypassed our most sophisticated tests by ingeniously becoming harmless to the human body," said Director Walensky, "It is estimated that eight billion people have caught this variant. We must prevent it from spreading further by closing schools and locking up kindergarten children."

The CDC director's guidance to close schools and stem the tide of this "stealth" variant is backed by data that has been thoroughly and rigorously altered, proving that public school teachers are the most susceptible, testing negative a whopping 100% of the time and often succumbing to the worst symptom-free symptoms.

At publishing time, Pfizer had announced early development of a new, 103% effective vaccine, followed 3.8 seconds later by approval from the FDA.

Vaccine injury is really really expensive. Vaccine injury in children roughly doubles educational costs and vaccine injury in all ages massively increases healthcare costs. That’s why it’s Pharma’s business model.

I naïvely thought (coming out of my Ph.D. program in 2019) that the costs of vaccine injury are so extraordinary, that politicians would be desperate to have a conversation about how to prevent these harms (give far fewer shots, it’s not complicated).

The California Democratic Party came up with a different idea — just kick the vaccine injured and their families out of school and out of the state. That’s what SB 277 (2015) and SB 276 (2019) did. In California today, there are no religious, philosophical, or medical exemptions to vaccination. If your kid brother died or was disabled from a shot you still have to get the full CDC schedule in order to attend school. If you were disabled by a shot, you are exempt from further doses of that one shot but no others. Any doctor who tries to write a medical exemption will lose his/her license. This goes against a century of best practices in medicine. ...

If these eugenic policies are allowed to stand, they will just grow and get worse (as vaccine injury comes to consume an ever-larger share of the economy and Dems respond with even weirder subconscious policies). Covid-19 shots must be removed from the market entirely. All mandate bills must be repealed. Pharma must be made liable for the harms caused by their products. Those are the minimum requirement necessary for us to return to being a civilized society.
