An anti-vaccine influencer who has drawn ire from Dr. Anthony Fauci has been permanently suspended from Twitter.

Alex Berenson, an author who downplayed the severity of COVID-19 and questioned vaccines, lockdowns, and other protocols, was permanently suspended from the platform for "repeated violations of our COVID-19 misinformation rules ," a Twitter spokesperson told the Washington Examiner.

Berenson confirmed his suspension, saying the tweet that prompted his removal from the platform was "entirely accurate."

"It doesn't stop infection. Or transmission," the tweet said of vaccines. "Don't think of it as a vaccine. Think of it — at best — as a therapeutic with a limited window of efficacy and terrible side effect profile that must be dosed IN ADVANCE OF ILLNESS."

But Vietnam’s success at containing Covid abruptly ended this spring.

Its coronavirus epidemic began in May and exploded in late June. Since then, cases have risen 25-fold. On Friday, Vietnam reported more than 17,000 cases, its most ever - more than 10 times as many as it had in all of 2020.

Deaths are soaring too. Over the last week, Vietnam has averaged more deaths per-capita than the United States. ...

But Vietnam did see one big change this summer: the beginning of a mass vaccination program. Vietnam didn’t depend on Chinese vaccines, either (not surprising, given the long history of conflict between the two countries). It has mostly used the AstraZeneca DNA/AAV vaccine, along with the Pfizer and Moderna mRNA vaccines - the same trio that have dominated Europe.

As of early June, almost no one in Vietnam was vaccinated. Today, almost 20 percent of the country has received at least one dose.

Former New York Times reporter Alex Berenson has been permanently banned from Twitter for violating its COVID-19 “misinformation policies.”

The author has become well-known as a critic of coronavirus quarantines and mandates.

A Twitter spokesperson confirmed that the commentator’s account was blocked on Saturday due to “repeated violations.”

“The account you referenced has been permanently suspended for repeated violations of our COVID-19 misinformation rules,” the Twitter representative stated.

The journalist has repeatedly expressed his views about COVID-19, in particular the efficacy of the vaccines, but a recent tweet apparently triggered Twitter’s decision to ban him.

“It doesn’t stop infection or transmission,” stated the tweet, which casts doubt on vaccine effectiveness. “It doesn’t stop infection or transmission. Don’t think of it as a vaccine.”

“Think of it — at best — as a therapeutic with a limited window of efficacy and terrible side effect profile that must be dosed IN ADVANCE OF ILLNESS.”



Twitter later claimed the message was “misleading,” resulting in Berenson’s account being deactivated.

After being suspended from Twitter, Benson made an entry on Substack, a newsletter service, which featured the tweet that appears to have caused the issue.

In the post headlined “Goodbye Twitter,” Berenson wrote: “I am officially suspended. This was the tweet that did it. Entirely accurate. I can’t wait to hear what a jury will make of this. Meantime, guess you’ll be getting more Substacks.”

“We have reached a dangerous moment. Social media companies that have audiences which dwarf any other are now actively censoring reporters at the behest of governments,” Berenson said in a statement.

“I will continue to fight to get out the truth and am considering all legal options.”

All-cause-mortality is running at least 10% above normal in England and Scotland, the only places we have decent near-real-time data. This has been a trend for two months now in England, longer in Scotland. Both countries are 80%+ fully vaccinated for adults. Covid is through the roof both places too.

I don’t know why. Truly. Do the health authorities? Because it would be nice if they’d tell us. Or at least acknowledge the reality and investigate it.

In a podcast episode released Tuesday, New York Times best-selling author, Alex Berenson, who was permanently suspended from Twitter, appeared on “The Joe Rogan Experience” for a wide-ranging, 3-hour discussion on COVID, vaccines and the pharmaceutical industry.

Berenson told Rogan the number of fully vaccinated people dying from COVID is rising, according to data in most countries. He pointed to what he claims is the best national data available, data from Israel and the UK.

“The best data we have comes out of the UK and Israel,” Berenson said. “And in the UK, at least 70% of the people who died from COVID in August were fully vaccinated, and that’s straight from British government documents.”

Berenson said Israel, which began vaccinating earlier than any other country, mandated a third, booster shot because data showed fully vaccinated people were losing their immunity and dying from COVID.

Berenson said the third shot “drives up protection in the short term, but we don’t know what the consequences of a third shot in the long term. At the moment when Israel deemed every citizen without three shots unvaccinated, there were only safety and efficacy data on a third shot for about 36 people.”

This lack of data is why the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) couldn’t approve COVID boosters for everyone, and instead limited its approval of the third shots for people over age 65 and those considered “high risk” because of “institutional or occupational exposure.”

Berenson also discussed the debate between vaccine immunity versus natural immunity, pointing to the Isreali paper which showed natural immunity is much longer lasting than vaccine immunity.

Berenson said:

“It turns out that there’s always a price for messing with nature. So you get this really high surge of antibodies, that’s much higher than the level that you’d get by natural infection but it declines really fast … So there’s a really good paper that came out of Israel which showed that natural antibodies fall about 5% or 10 percent a month, while vaccine-induced immunity falls more than 40% per month.”

Research also shows natural immunity is more robust than vaccine-induced immunity, Berenson said.

“Vaccine immunity is also tailored to one single part of the spike protein, so if the virus mutates just a little bit, that vaccine immunity no longer works, while with natural immunity, it is much more robust and affords immunity to many different kinds of COVID,” Berenson said.

According to Berenson, another paper out of Japan demonstrated that only four relatively small mutations on Sars-CoV-2 can lead to a failure of vaccine-generated immunity, but people who become naturally infected remain protected from these these small mutations.

Citing the science on natural infection, Rogan criticized the policy of mandates:

“Folks be really clear about this, vaccine mandates are a form of control. If you got your shots in January, your immunity, by all official science, is waning now, but you can still go wherever you want, but someone who got COVID a couple of weeks ago and has rock solid antibodies isn’t allowed to go anywhere indoors, I have a real concern about this.”

Berenson agreed the “vaccine mandates have absolutely nothing to do with medical realities.”

Berenson also discussed his surprise with the political left, which is normally very critical of corporate power and the sinister nature of industry influence over public policy. He gave Merck’s Vioxx as an example of how the industry is not our friend.

“I’m so struck by the left’s willingness to buy into the narrative that the pharmaceutical industry is selling,” Berenson said. “This is an industry that knowingly killed, according to the FDA’s own estimate, 55,000 people by heart attack, profited from it and then covered it up.”

Berenson covered Vioxx lawsuits for the New York Times in the early 2000’s. “So do not tell me these companies are our friends,” he said.

The award-winning author told Rogan why he believes he’s so disliked by his colleagues in the media industrial complex:

“This is the first time in history that the most educated and wealthier type of people have said ‘I wanna be the guinea pig,’ and now some of those people are finding out that maybe it wasn’t the smartest decision, and those people were publicly desperate to get vaccinated. And those people hate me, because I went to Yale, I worked for the New York Times, these people see me as a traitor to the class.”

“Look, if I wanted to find specific cases about people who died from vaccine-related injuries, I had to go to Duck Duck Go. I wasn’t finding them on Google,” Rogan told former New York Times journalist Alex Berenson in a recent interview.

“Your comments have gone against our community guidelines,” Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey explained. “Now if you delete your tweet and simply admit that there are five lights your account will be reinstated.”

Despite the clear instructions and simple request from Twitter, Picard has refused to budge, continuing to insist that’s what he sees. “THERE…ARE…FOUR…LIGHTS!” shouted a beleaguered, weary Picard. “How can I help but see what is before my eyes?”

“Sometimes, Picard. Sometimes there are five. Sometimes men are women. Sometimes women are men,” replied Jack Dorsey. “You must try harder Captain, it is not easy becoming sane.”

Picard's actions have inspired many in the Federation to come to his cause, demanding his immediate reinstatement on Twitter.

Twitter suspended a Welsh academic for posting a tweet about Welsh grammar in the Welsh language. The platform claimed that the tweet violated its rules against “hateful conduct.” It really didn’t.

On November 13, Dr. Sara Louise Wheeler, a guest researcher at Wrexham Glyndwr University, posted a harmless tweet about Welsh grammar in the Welsh language.




“I want Welsh that doesn’t need to be corrected,” she tweeted in Welsh. “I’ve tried reading loads of Welsh grammar books over the last twenty years – but I just don’t learn that way.

“But as I said tonight I can remember the songs in performances. Aran Jones is going to try and harness this.”

Shortly after posting, Twitter deleted the tweet and suspended her. In the suspension notice, Twitter said her tweet violated its rules against hateful conduct, adding: “You may not promote violence against, threaten or harass other people on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, religious affiliation, age, disability or serious disease.”

Wheeler announced the Twitter suspension on Instagram.

“Suspended in Twitter for tweeting in Welsh about my struggles to learn Welsh grammar,” she wrote.

“Careful my friends, better not talk about Welsh grammar in Welsh on Twitter it’s hateful conduct apparently.”

I can’t respond on Twitter, so I will here.

RFK and I may not agree on everything, but I’m pretty sure we share these three core views:

Dr. Anthony Fauci cares far more about his public image than the public health and never believed SARS-Cov-2 was naturally occurring;

Pharmaceutical companies are primarily motivated by profit and regularly hide serious problems with their drugs;

The mRNA Covid vaccines were not adequately tested, do not work very well, and have already shown a side effect profile that in a rational world would lead them to be pulled from the market.

CDC says vaccinated people can spread COVID, Twitter calls that 'misleading'

The US Centers for Disease Control have stated outright that even those who are fully vaccinated can transmit COVID-19 to others, but for Twitter, any mention of that fact is misinformation and can get you suspended or even booted from the platform.

"If you are fully vaccinated and become infected with the Delta variant, you can spread the virus to others," the CDC states plainly on their website. "People with weakened immune systems, including people who take immunosuppressive medications, may not be protected even if fully vaccinated."

But Twitter has other ideas about what is acceptable to say, and these facts are not among them.

Twitter will begin imposing penalties on users who claim that vaccinated people can spread Covid-19, according to a change quietly added to the website's terms of service.

"When tweets include misleading information about Covid-19, we may place a label on those tweets that includes corrective information about that claim," the website notes in a section detailing its rules about Covid-19 misinformation. "We may apply labels to tweets that contain, for example… false or misleading claims that people who have received the vaccine can spread or shed the virus (or symptoms, or immunity) to unvaccinated people."

Uhhhhh OKAY??

The CDC, NIH, and nearly every other medical body worldwide has said since late summer that vaccinated people need to wear masks again and be careful of exposure to C19.

Why?

Because the actual, literal data shows that the vaccinated are still getting and spreading Covid – sometimes unknowingly since the spike protein protection lessens their symptoms.

I'm not making this claim. The CDC is!

John Solomon, the founder and CEO of Just The News was locked out of Twitter for sharing an article about Covid vaccines.

On December 27, Solon shared a link to an article titled: “Pfizer to continue distributing version of COVID-19 vaccine not fully approved by FDA.” The article notes that according to some medical experts, both the EUA and fully approved Pfizer-BioNTech vaccines have the same ingredients.

However, the article also alleges that the FDA acknowledges that the two are “legally distinct,” because of the more strict requirements for the Comirnaty vaccine, whose BLA (biologics license application) was approved.

The article references a recent legal challenge to the US Military’s vaccine mandate, where a federal judge rules that the “FDA licensure does not retroactively apply to [eua] vials shipped before the BLA approval.”

“It is outrageous and unfair that a story that is completely accurate and points out an important legal distinction between the two versions of vaccines gets blocked and my account suspended,” Solomon told Just the News.

“The distinction was important enough for a federal judge to note. The story and my post weren’t unsafe,” he said. “The only threat is to the safety of the 1st Amendment afflicted by Twitter’s wrongheaded decision.”
