Initially the unvaccinated would be granted protection as people were told that 60% vaccine coverage rate would already suffice to provide for robust herd immunity (HI). In the meantime, the unvaccinated are not only not protected from infection for failure of mass vaccination to generate any kind of HI but they’re now also more susceptible to disease for mass vaccination is only promoting adaptation of increasingly infectious viral variants, which finally results in erosion of powerful innate immune defence in the unvaccinated (by virtue of rising infectious pressure).
