Why don't they just vote out the idiots that caused the issues they are running from? Instead, they run to a unspoiled red area and bring their ruinous politics with them. Each Red State should pass a law about enforcing California's 10 year rule on taxation. That is, the Red State will collect taxes on the locust to remit to California. That way the locust pays for the mess they voted for, and may even deter them from going to the Red State in the first place.

An ILLUSION is made that because people are fleeing "blue areas", they continue to "vote blue", even if they never did.
