Oh yeah. This sums up what is going to.happen in 2022 at least.

Democrats may be in a far worse position than they understand — not only in Virginia, but everywhere. Biden has become the new Trump, and attitudes toward him are the new measurement of dissatisfaction with Washington.

There has been an immense change of attitude toward President Joe Biden, the man to whom Virginia voters gave a landslide victory just a year ago.

Oh, that is patently false. Trump was ahead by 18 points at 10PM election night. Only well after midnight did the results change to Biden, after the "mail-in" votes were counted.

The DNC was a decent party for a brief period of time. I think during the Carter years they were OK. I know there was a ton of inflation under Carter, but you really can't blame him for that - we'd left the gold standard and it was Nixon that set price controls. I wouldn't mind seeing a viable democratic party again.

Dear Democrats: You're Not Getting the Message
Stop doubling down on the lies

Gummi Bear

...

The Trump presidency was both a blessing and a curse.

Blessing:

Mainstream media exposed just how partisan they are.

It revealed the extent to which our most important institutions (FBI, DOJ, CDC NIAID) were populated with partisan left-leaning actors.

It made it clear that the radical progressive agenda was actually a form of neo-marxism.

Curse:

Trump was such a polarizing figure, that the left was able to get away with outrageous behavior/agendas because Trump was considered the greater evil → once this becomes normalized you now have a bigger problem.

The country was polarized to the point where many weren’t even listening to what the other side had to say.

It’s really had to fathom what has been normalized since 2016.

What is this outrageous behavior/agenda that I mention:

Russiagate → The FBI weaponized opposition research from the Hillary campaign against Trump and didn’t bother stopping when they found out that the dossier was bogus. This should be the political scandal of the century, but “serious” journalists pretend this didn’t happen.

Media Coverage of the 2020 Presidential Campaign → They buried real and damaging stories like Hunter’s laptop or Biden’s sexual assault allegations.

Media Coverage of Everything → Example: Kavanaugh hearing, Covington Catholic.

Critical Race Theory → This toxic theory that aims to divide us along racial lines has been repeatedly shoved down our throats…even making its way into the public school system.

The “LGBTQ Pandemic” → Pushing non-binary sexuality onto our children.

Dehumanization of Opposition → Half the country is irredeemably racist and evil therefore should not be engaged.

Systemic Racism → America is a fundamentally evil and unjust place. Everything about the system is racist so it needs to be torn down and rebuilt.

Covid-19 Tyranny → Covid hysteria/misinformation, lockdowns, mask mandates, vaccine mandates, shutting down repurposed drugs, and now vaccination of children.

George Floyd Riots → The left actively supported and stoked the rioting and looting following the death of George Floyd.

Big Tech Censorship → Censorship of free speech, banning of people the left doesn’t like, and algorithms that shadowban the right.

If you have no idea what I’m talking about then you’re a leftist and I don’t care because you’re beyond saving. Go ahead and keep drinking the cool aid.

But if you are a Democrat in the traditional sense and want to understand this in simple terms: “Stop lying about everything”.

“Localities are going to have to make decisions the way the law works and that is going to be up to individual decisions but, again, from the governor’s office, you won’t see mandates from me,” Youngkin clarified in a one-on-one interview over the weekend.

https://www.ntd.com/virginias-loudoun-county-pulls-sexually-explicit-book-from-school-libraries_728540.html?source=patrick.net

Facing pressure from concerned parents, Loudoun County Public Schools in Virginia said it will remove copies of a graphic novel containing explicit sexual scenes.

The book in question, “Gender Queer: A Memoir,” was created by California cartoonist Maia Kobabe. It sparked controversy in Virginia and several other states after parents complained about the book’s graphic depiction of adolescent sexual acts.

In a statement to Washington Post, Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS) Superintendent Scott Ziegler said while he disagrees with the practice of pulling books from library shelves, he did find “Gender Queer” inappropriate for school and decided to remove it. ...

“It’s shocking that images, and even some words, that federal law prohibits TV stations to share with adults are the same images being shared with Virginia students with no accountability,” said Victoria Coley, vice president of communications at IWV. ...

Meanwhile, the neighboring Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) announced in November 2021 that it would restore “Gender Queer” to its libraries, two months after the school district agreed to remove the book alongside “Lawn Boy,” a young adult novel by Jonathan Evison, following complaints over sexually explicit content.

A semi-autobiography of its non-binary author, “Gender Queer” contains illustrations of sexual acts, masturbation, and sex toys. “Lawn Boy” involves an adult man reflecting on sexual encounters he had with another boy when they were in the fourth grade. Both books were winners of the American Library Association’s Alex Awards, which is given every year to “ten books written for adults that have special appeal to young adults ages 12 through 18.” ...

Stacy Langton, a parent in the Fairfax County school system, said that when she read out sexually explicit excerpts from “Gender Queer” and “Lawn Boy” at the public comment session of school board meeting, the board chair cut her off, ironically reminding her that “there were children in the audience.”

Gayness is an acquired vice. Identical twin studies and evolutionary theory show this, as well as experience throughout history. The majority of gays were molested as a boy by a gay man, and gays commit 1/3 of all child molestation in spite of being only 2% of the population.

This allows a control group and an experimental group.

The US was supposed to be a Union of States - of NATIONS. The function of the Federal government was to protect this union from outside aggression, to arbitrate between the states, and to enforce the Constitution. That was the limit of its powers.

Different states were expected to implement different systems. In this way, what worked could easily be observed. If Texas implemented a mandatory educational system, and Tennessee had no public education system, the results of such policies could be observed 20 years after. This allowed competition between the states for the best ideas to operate the states.

I agree, the governor shouldn't be involved with dictating what school districts do. Just like the chips fall where they may.

And if you live in a school district asking you to vaccinate your kids, maybe you should think of moving to another school district. Is this inconvenient? Yep. So what? Lots of things are inconvenient.

Yes. Exactly. If you live in what you think is CrazyTown, why are you staying? If you can't fix CrazyTown, get out, and let it deal with the consequences.

This is perverted though, because the State and Federal governments can dump money into municipalities that are compliant.

Youngkin is just leaving them up to their own decisions. Any infusion of money from the Federal government for those that go along to get along should be seen for what it is - bribery. Corruption.

You are absolutely correct, perverted, corruption. The Federal government most certainly CANNOT dump money anywhere, as that is unconstitutional, and they have been funding unconstitutional purposes for far too long. They do it anyway, and keep taxing us in order to do it, as well as printing money to fund it too.

Yes, this is precisely what is happening.

The reason that large companies didn't complain about the "covid shutdown" is that they were paid to keep their mouth shut. In the first "covid rescue plan" individuals were given up to $1,200. The plan cost $5 trillion dollars. There are 330 million Americans. 330 million * 1,200 = 0.396 trillion - say 1/2 trillion. Where did the other 4.5 trillion go to?

It was a BRIBE to corporations. At least 4.5 trillion dollars was sent out to bribe corporations.

We are being forced to pay for our own enslavement.

This is true. A 2 yr community college received over 74 million dollars in total from the three grifting events our “government” perpetrated. They are somehow giving a big chunk of it to students just for attending classes????
26   Patrick   2022 Jan 18, 10:13pm

I hadn't heard about it being given to students, but I just met a school board member from San Jose who said that the amounts were large.

The catch is that the school cannot then question the narrative at all.

How Billions in COVID Stimulus Funds Led to Dangerous, Tyrannical Policies in U.S. Schools
In 2020 and 2021, Congress passed trillions in COVID-related stimulus funds, a good portion of which went to schools — but only if school officials aligned their policies with Centers for Disease Control and Prevention COVID guidelines.

https://thefederalist.com/2022/01/28/this-virginia-ag-legal-opinion-shreds-university-covid-jab-mandates/?source=patrick.net

Virginia Attorney General Jason Miyares delivered a legal opinion on Friday arguing that state universities do not possess the authority to require students to receive the COVID jab as a condition for enrollment or attendance of in-person classes. ...

The opinion from Miyares comes as students across the commonwealth are pushing back against their university’s unethical COVID booster requirements. At George Mason University, nearly 1,000 students have signed a petition demanding that the school’s administration revoke the current booster mandate, arguing that it “seeks to obtain compliance through coercion, rather than allowing for a truly free and voluntary choice.”

Loudon County continues to double down. The reason a Republican won in Virginia is because of the downright deceitful and despicable Loudon County School Board.

They haven't accepted defeat, however. Now they are going to suspend students who don't mask and not allow them to return unless they agree to wear the mask all day.

But yeah, this is all about public health and trusting the science.

It's about one thing only. The power to make you comply. These school boards are drunk on this power and they aren't gonna let anyone get in their way.

Northern Virginia is VERY ethnically diverse. That could be a light skin Indian dad with a darker skinned Indian wife. May even be a White man with a Black wife.
