Maybe the battle is between those who unfairly benefit from credentialism, and those who don't.

Liberals defend their credentials which allow them to exploit those who don't have the same credentials. Credentials create monopolies, the ability to set high prices regardless of quality of service. It is a way to defeat free market competition.

The funding of universities depends entirely on the demand for their degrees, which they control. Their biggest horror would be a system where anyone could take tests to prove competence in a subject without paying for the years of classes and subjecting themselves to obedience to professors.

Thatcher and Trump refused to give the automatic respect many academics feel is their due. They gave the impression that they could see right through us, an uncomfortable feeling.
- Thomas Frank

Most of academia is less about learning than about paying for a paper proof of status and conformity. Non-conformists are expelled from schools, or failed out. Most teachers do not like their authority to be questioned. Bosses like the academic proof of conformity when they hire. The most "educated" are the most obedient.

Trump was a threat to their credentials and therefore a threat to their incomes and status.

The academic elite need a reason to hate those threatening themselves, therefore they use imaginary "racism", to which there is no defense. The accusation is the conviction.

Then they don't need to worry about the real class problem, which is independent of race. They would be uncomfortable looking at class, because they'd have to look at themselves and their unearned class privileges.

So their faith in the injection is faith in the "expert class" of which they are members, and they demand that the hoi polloi submit to it as an expression of the elite's power and prestige.

The "Facts Don't Care About Your Feelings" Mantra Is Hurting, Not Helping

I believe the political right's marriage to being the embodiment of "facts don't care about your feelings" has become more of a detriment than a benefit for their political objectives.

We've heard since we were children that it's not what you say but how you say it. Why is this the case? Because how you persuade people to care about your cause or consider your ideas is relevant to how you communicate them.

People are more willing to consider a bad idea in a calm & convincing tone than a great idea screamed at the top of their lungs. How you choose to communicate your ideas matters because it takes into consideration the feelings of the people who are bein...

This looks like bs to me. Sure, Youngkin was less abrasive than Trump, but the did make it clear that the leftoids would let pedophiles use the bathroom their kids use, have regular drag queen hours, crt galore and would not allow the parents to have any say in their children's education. He wasn't very touchy feely, just softer and well spoken. You don't give into delusions and complete denial of laws of nature by acknowledging their feelings, which is close to apologizing to leftoid retards. You can be factual and polite while firm at the same time. We don't need and can't afford any more feelz acknowledged.

Now, here’s the weirdest thing: These stories all reveal that this experimental vaccine is said to be a failure that can’t be approved by regulators or distributed in the population because it “fails to stop transmission,” so people who are vaccinated with it can still be infected and can still pass on the virus to others. See, that means it doesn’t work.

Isn’t that an interesting standard by which to evaluate a vaccine? I’m….having…vague…memories of….a time when….nope, lost it.

Also, claiming that the Moderna and Pfizer vaccines for Covid-19 are failed vaccines, or not really vaccines, and making those claims on the basis of the fact that they don’t stop transmission or infection, still counts as being a mean Nazi. So definitely don’t say that. Anti-vaxxer!

If an HIV vaccine doesn’t prevent transmission or infection, it doesn’t work. If a Covid-19 vaccine doesn’t prevent transmission or infection, it’s absolutely flawless and glorious, and you should build a statue to it and worship it as a god and stop talking to your own family if they don’t take more and more and more of it like a milkshake or bottled water.

https://boriquagato.substack.com/p/rationalizing-rationality

“scared witless” is a phrase for a reason.

fear and panic, yours and others, change everything. fear alone is enough to shut down rational faculties. group level panic and the social pressures of herd following behaviors blow this into the stratosphere.

suddenly, no matter how smart you were 5 minutes ago, you’re now a blithering idiot.

suddenly, no matter how independent you thought you were, the lightning flashes, the sky tears open in thunder, and before you know it you’re just another panicked sheep in the herd stampeded by the storm.

all these things you prized about yourself are gone. it’s like one of those nightmare dreams where you remember you have an exam in a class you never read the books for.

your functional final comes and oopsie

... i believed i would be brave and free thinking and rational. but i wasn’t.

and i suspect it’s why so many “smart people” are struggling to adapt to the world post panicpalooza.

this is bitter pill to take.

"i was too afraid to buck peer pressure" feels like weakness.

rational people can admit they were wrong. but admitting you chickened out and surged with the sheep when you self identify as a "free thinker" is more fundamental.

it poses a more intrinsic threat to self image and self-regard.

it’s a form of narcissistic blow to the idea that you are self-governing. it makes you wonder if you can trust yourself.

and it makes you feel like a coward, the admission of which is very hard. being wrong is just a failure of an idea.

being scared stupid feels like a personal failing.

it's why so few want to face it especially if they acted badly, treated others poorly, engaged in or advocated their mistreatment, or hectored and harangued others out of misbegotten terror tyranny.

people will go to great lengths to not remember it that way. it’s just too damaging. whole memories get revised and whole paradigms of thought get overturned.

i suspect most people are going to be OK, but the amount of copium going around in the “intellectual” class is jarring.

"i was wrong because i was smart and brave and the people who wound up right were lucky and craven" is the most self-defeating form of rationalization.

it's not only the coward claiming they were the lion but calling the actual lions simps.

mostly, i suspect they are not mad about being wrong and endlessly touchy because some others were right.

mostly, i suspect they are mad at themselves because deep down in the scratchy dark dissonance of their subconscious, they know that they wound up on the team they did not want to and they do not like this about themselves.

and that one hurts.

... these outcomes seem especially galling for the self styled “smart” people. they look at those they deem their inferiors and say “how did you outperform me time and time again lo these three long years?” and the answer is simple:

because this was not a test of pure intellectual horsepower. few of the ones that matter are.

a panicked 99th percentiler can be easily out thought by a middle of the pack player who has retained rationality and independence, especially in times when the pack is being urged to self-harm. ...

i have all the sympathy in the world for those who are changing their minds and saying "i was wrong" and "i panicked" and "i failed the milgram and asch and stanford experiments."

that shows capacity to grow and it’s a demanding road.

and this was a seriously hard test with a low pass rate.

...

(people like Scott Adams) have not "joined team rationality." they have just found new means to rationalize not doing so and are just once more caving to dominant social pressure.

they are not following the data, they are following the crowd.

everyone changed jerseys and so they are doing so as well.

keep your eye on them.

they'll change back the minute the next thing frightens them.

https://bioclandestine.substack.com/p/the-left-wing-identity-crisis

The Left-Wing Identity Crisis
Twitter’s open discourse a catalyst for mass public-awakening ...

There is a seismic shift happening amongst the normies. There is a growing resistance to MSM narratives in mainstream and Left-wing circles, particularly on Twitter, which has huge influence that bleeds into all the other platforms as well.

The accumulation of irregularities in the MSM narratives, are taking their toll on the sheep. The current combination of the Biden Docs scandal, the jabs not being “safe and effective” as promised, and the growing body of evidence that C19 was human engineered; has caused a sort of identity crisis amongst the Left.

Their entire personas revolved around masks, covid vaccines, and Trump being a criminal. Now they are being forced to rationalize that the “anti-vaxxers” and “conspiracy theorists” were right, and turns out Biden and the DNC are criminals. The pillars of their identity are slowly being proven to be a farce, and it’s breaking the cohesion of the Left and their followers. ...

This result is largely due to the public conversation being had, made possible by Elon freeing Twitter of Left-wing algorithm and bot manipulation. The normies are no longer shielded from public discourse like they were before. The comment sections are flooded with counter-arguments to MSM lies. Conservative voices are seeing increased exposure due to no longer being shadow-banned, and it’s making dividends in public perception. ...

Some opted to fight, lashing out as a defense mechanism in response to their fear, amplifying the severity of their hatred for the Conservatives, creating more bulletin-board material for the Right.

In conclusion, Elon’s intervention into Twitter’s nefarious criminal activity not only exposed unprecedented levels of corruption within the government and private enterprise; it paved the way for truth and logic to reign supreme via public discourse, which resulted in a consistent stream of organic mass normie-waking, followed by the current watershed of awakening.

This outcome is what Elon means when he preaches “Vox Populi, Vox Dei” (The voice of the People, is the voice God). Allow the People to speak freely, and truth will out. The plan is working.

I'd like to think so, but I don't believe that the left is really changing.

The same could be said of all of these tropes: Does anyone believe them anymore? This is not news. It is a last-gasp attempt to squeeze more juice out of a dehydrated lemon. These messages were potent fear generators two years ago. But with each use, the charge becomes weaker.

The script has worn itself out. These tropes are now tired and ineffective. The fear-pushers seem unaware that the message has lost its effect, but do not have anything else to offer. The tell is not that they publish articles like this. It is how much these pieces show that they don’t know that the game is over and they have lost.

Most of the species fell for it. They believed everything, and went into deep panic. Many still haven’t come out. To this day you see people driving alone wearing masks, which they’ll no doubt continue wearing until enough plastic fibres seep into their lung tissue from their life-saving facial filters that they die from COPD. Most have come to their senses somewhat, but they still lined up in droves to get their armful of magic science juice.

The consequences of that mass experiment in horizontal gene transfer are still being worked out. They don’t look good. The hideous implications are beginning to dawn on the globalists’ experimental subjects, and the mood is turning ugly. As well it should.

Meanwhile, those who were most vocal in their support for injecting the entire human species with a novel genetic potion, who demanded this be done whether people wanted it or not because omigod there’s a virus won’t someone please think of the old people! are having their psyches shattered in real time by cogdis slamming like a pickaxe through their self-image as the smartest good little boys and girls in the room, and the nasty reality that they were wrong, about everything ... while those awful, ultra-extreme-alt-right-wing QAnon conspiracy theory-believing malinformation-spreading hate-speaking sexist misogynist racist homophobic epistemological terrorists were, well. You know. Correct. ...

Having passed through this purifying inferno, you now know your inner strength of spirit with certainty. Before this, you might have suspected, or hoped, that your soul would be made of such an adamantine alloy, but you couldn’t know.

Now you do.

Perhaps we should thank the tyrants for stealing these years from our lives; after all, they made us what we are now. Personally, I think we should thank them with gibbets and gallows, but I’m old school that way.

I think that the fundamental need that is satisfied in the crowd is that people want to belong to a collective. People want to transcend themselves, they want to be freed of the limits of their own individual existence, without realising it. That’s what you do in a crowd. People suddenly . . . usually — before the large scale mass formations of modern times — people were in the grip of an extreme individualism. They got sick of it. And then suddenly, without knowing it, they had only one desire: to sacrifice themselves in order to belong to a collective, to sacrifice themselves for the collective. So an emerging mass and totalitarianism usually means that extreme individualism suddenly changes and switches to extreme collectivism. In one way or another, in modern times, many people have a hard time keeping the balance between individualism and collectivism. That’s what is needed, as a human being, to live a life worthy of a human being, to not be too individualistic, but also not to be too collectivistic, because in both instances there is something destructive at the level of your humanity.

Becoming vaccinated was the easy choice, not the hard one. There was never any evidence it was the sensible choice and it could be argued - and this may seem harsh - that if you were determined to be part of the group, wilfully and determinedly deaf to any counter-argument or even call for caution, absolutist in your own belief in you virtue and knowledge, irrationally frightened of death, unthinking, superficial and glib, fearful of other people’s opinion of you, filled with desire/fear to comply with the powerful for safety or favour, then becoming vaccinated was the only choice. But these are not exactly admirable qualities.

At no point was there evidence that these experimental vaccines were safe. The explanations on TV were nonsensical (why inject yourself with a substance that caused your body to make the very thing you’d spent a year manically avoiding). Why believe them? Why take it? What vaccinated people should do, in my opinion, is find out why they took that vaccine, as a matter of urgency. Why they allowed themselves to believe in a narrative that made Swiss cheese look as solid as the Berlin Wall.

To start asking the very government that damaged you, the corporations, the doctors and nurses - who should have known better - to start listening to you seems to be a little bit degrading. It’s an ‘Everybody else’s fault but mine!’ attitude. It’s not a case of ‘blaming the victim’. It’s a case of asking, when you are a being bullied, how long do you stay in an abusive relationship and not take responsibility for your staying? It’s asking the bully to be nice, instead of taking on the onus of hitting them on the nose.

Given the pain caused, no one wants to add to the suffering. Yet, unless people are prepared to be accountable for their role, however large or small, in all of this, then we not only learn nothing, we cannot move forward. If we cannot move forward, we’ll be back here again soon enough.

https://cjhopkins.substack.com/p/how-to-memory-hole-a-psyop

There comes a time near the end of every PSYOP when the PSYOP has achieved its objective, or as much of its objective as it is going to achieve, and is becoming increasingly recognizable as a PSYOP, and so the focus shifts to damage control, and erasing the PSYOP from official history.

This is a crucial stage of the PSYOP, because, at this point, a significant percentage of the public have realized that they’ve been thoroughly mindfucked, and many of them are none too happy about it. Some of them are starting to ask awkward questions, like “why were we deceived and coerced by our governments, global health authorities, and the state and corporate media into submitting to a series of experimental ‘vaccinations’ that appear to be killing and injuring a lot of people?” Or “why are we occupying and torturing the residents of a Middle-Eastern country that never attacked us, and never had any intention to attack us, and which posed no threat to us whatsoever?”

At this point, it is way too late for those engaged in conducting the PSYOP to continue to deny the facts and gaslight the masses. That won’t work anymore. So, it is time to do some limited hangouts, and some whitewashing, and a little sleight-of-hand, and just generally confuse and distract the public, and send them off on various wild goose chases, while the official history of the PSYOP is written. ...

The point is, the PSYOP that we have all been subjected to for going on the last three years is not going to be exposed, ever. The damage control and memory-holing will continue, and the misdirections and limited hangouts will continue, and the whitewashing of corporations like Twitter and the corporate media and “papers of record” will continue, and the Covid-PSYOP will be erased from history, like the WMDs-PSYOP was erased from history … and people will get used to their “vaccinations,” like they got used to taking off their shoes at the airport.

The 'pandemic plan' has been the cooker for well over a hundred years, it seems, populating the fantasy life of the dynastics and elites. Contagion planning mass murder gives them a hard on. It now appears we have had this series of post WWII lab contagions released and publicized on a regular schedule before they attempted the 'Big One Grandaddy' of Covid religion. They have been nursing these plans on how to cultivate contagion as a general predator hostility against the subject populations for some time, and the German Nazis believed that such contagion planning had enormous potential.

What they didn't count on was the diminishing returns on the investment, or that they would ever be dragged into the light as perpetrators. Contagion panic before victim awakening seems to have a life span of about two years with a diminishing, dropping tail end for the ten trillion dollar printing press money investment.

The contagion hoax probably could not have worked without the fiat currency hoax first, they are linked. If money had always been on a value standard, they could have never rustled enough dough to float the hustle, or they would not have invested that much actual value in it.

Add this twist - a country like China may actually be looking for a particular gain of function, a race angle. That is, the Chinese may target a virus to only attack Balck people, based on some sequence of DNA. That would give them an advantage fighting an American army that has many Black soldiers while keeping their own ethnicity immune.

I've come across a lot of, for lack of a better word, "spergs," who deny religion, but then, seemingly at random, fixate on a cause and make it their religion. They cling to it against all contrary evidence, and never admit that they are wrong, for to do so is to forsake their god/religion.

Like said, it's his touted religious burka, and we know who got the bribes and kickbacks and wants to make a public show that he was a beguiled prison camp guard rather than an active democidal agent. I suspect this is anticipatory to prosecutions, not something he believes in. Nonetheless, the chair of medicine at UCSF is a sociopath or a psychopath at best. What's betting every vaccine and booster he and his family got were placebos. He would have to either be ineffably stupid or his finger is in the wind of politics and he is trying to maneuver.

The prison camp guard "True Believer" defense is a thing now. I guess we will see as the future unfolds how effective 'toilet paper science' protects these guys. My guess is they will predictably be thrown under the bus as a blame shifting maneuver.

Students of political history have often marveled that the Anglo-Irish statesman, Edmund Burke, made all of his accurate predictions about the French Revolution in 1790. Burke foresaw that the Jacobins would grossly mismanage everything and then resort to terror when none of their harebrained schemes worked. He predicted the bloody fiasco would end with the accession to power of a military commander.

Three years after Burke’s Reflections on the Revolution in France was published, the Reign of Terror began. Nine years later, Napoleon Bonaparte came to power through a combination of subterfuge and soldiers with fixed bayonets.

How did Burke make these predictions? He knew history and he understood human nature. He therefore saw that the Jacobins had no idea what they were doing. None of their abstract schemes acknowledged the complex reality of human affairs. Their entire conception of reality was ideological, not practical, and they insisted on imposing it with fanatical zeal.

Precisely the same is true of the Vaccine Syndicate that ran the official Pandemic Response. Its leaders are votaries of the COVID-19 Vaccine Cult, and all of their policies were in the service of getting a needle in every arm. Their monolithic policy totally ignored the complex reality of the problem.

Those familiar with history (and medical history) could see by April of 2020 that “The Science” constantly invoked by our government health agencies was an ideological construct—an Orthodoxy—and not true science. True scientific inquiry was conducted by doctors in the field who had the courage to treat the illness instead of waiting for the heralded “vaccine.”

Kevin Bass’s Newsweek is a good start. May the rest of the Official “Follow the Science” Establishment get out their forks and knives and start eating crow.

Includes a good comment on why everyone should have known that the toxxine is a scam:

No science or history knowledge was required. It was simple: no long term studies, minuscule death rate, change of definition of vaccine, the body language and messaging was inauthentic. It was bizarre. Suddenly it’s ok to bribe people to take an experimental therapy? Remote workers mandated to take it? All one needs is common sense.

Perchance to Dream

(v1) Our daughter’s lost for evermore
She took the shot, fell to the floor
We followed all instructions to the tee
No explanation’s in the air
No questions asked, no one dares
It’s best we stop this foolish inquiry

(Chorus) No more doubts, yes we’ve been sold
Safe and effective we’ve been told
Time for us to take this for the team
She went to sleep
Oh just a teen
Did not wake up, or so it seems
Where’s the rub?
Perchance to dream

(v2) We were told you must have faith
In order to ensure she’s safe
But now she’s gone, we’re feeling all this pain
The doctors claimed it’s nothing new
We’re at a loss, they have no clue
It’s just a mystery they can’t explain

(Chorus) No more doubts, yes we’ve been sold
Safe and effective we’ve been told
Time for us to take this for the team
She went to sleep
Oh just a teen
Did not wake up, or so it seems
Where’s the rub?
Perchance to dream

(Bridge 1) No it’s wrong to speculate
The hour’s past, it’s way too late
Shut your mouth and never speak again
Don’t attack our sacred jab
For if you do, our hearts you’ll stab
Our mind’s made up, so you just
must pretend

Bridge (2) I deny what you suggest
Another lie, based on a guess
How can you question our authorities?
There’s no connection to this shot
Decency first, have you forgot?
No connection, no possibility

Verse instrumental

(Chorus) No more doubts, yes we’ve been sold
Safe and effective we’ve been told
Time for us to take this for the team
She went to sleep
Oh just a teen
Did not wake up, or so it seems
Where’s the rub?
Perchance to dream

(Coda) She sleeps so well
But do you care?
No more talk of these nightmares
Do you understand just what we mean?

All we know she’s left her mark
As we remain in the dark
Where’s the rub?
Perchance to dream

So I think what vaxxers need is a reason to feel good about themselves for opening their eyes.

What would make them feel good instead of bad? Or even feel angry at having been deceived? That would be an improvement.

The whole problem is psychological, not factual.

I guess they need to know you're on their side and it's not that you personally don't like them.

Suggestions on how to do that?

Maybe a focus on the utter lies Big Pharma told us about their product. Lies which were backed by the government and credentialed experts who should have known better. No it wasn’t effective, as we can all clearly see since everyone got Covid and the vaxxed got it a bunch of times. No it wasn’t safe as more and more people are feeling confident enough to relate their personal stories, and science has finally begun to truly analyze the dangers it presents. No it wasn’t necessary. Yes the mandates were fascist and inexcusable, although this point is a nonstarter for Democrats as it makes them feel bad about themselves.

And really, the pinch of the situation is that people who tried to do the “right thing,” the social thing, the altruistic thing that would end the pandemic and save millions of lives… were lied to and abused by Big Pharma and the government. They are the undeniable victims of a massive and wicked conspiracy. And they remain in mortal danger from the after effects of this unsafe and ineffective “vaccine.”
They should be PISSED about that! Encouraging them to be angry about the deception is the path forward.

Yes, maybe the right tack to take is "You tried to do the right thing, but you were lied to. So your good will was abused and your good intentions ended up causing harm because of bastards like Pfauci and Bourla."

And maybe for maskers, you could appeal to the same fear that kept them wearing a mask in order to get them to stop: "Hey, that mask is harming your health by getting you to breathe micro-fibers deep into your lungs along with mold spores that form on the mask, as well as reducing your oxygen intake. It's going to kill you if you keep wearing it."
