I'm looking for a clear message that management will understand that their customers are unhappy about their EMPLOYEES having to wear them.

If all the employees decided to take off their masks, the employer would be stuck! What can they do? Fire them all? Or even half would make the business unworkable.

Something like “Free people refuse the mask (they can’t fire us all!)” might get the point across.

Or “Don’t UNperson yourselves. Refuse to be muzzled!”

Might start a few conversations at least.

Employees are paid to do the bidding of their employers. If they don't want to wear a hairnet they can work somewhere else that does not require hairnets.

Employers are generally terrified of strikes, because they cost them big money.
