Not every company has given up: my wife's employer is going at it full tilt and even demands compliance by Dec 8th despite the Fed deadline being set ar Jan 4th.
Rulings: So Much #WINNING!
First, let’s cut to the breaking news. Another court has put a hold on another federal mandate. Our friend Phil Kerpen itemizes the current win tally:
OSHA - stayed nationally.
CMS - enjoined nationally.
Federal Contractors - enjoined in Kentucky, Ohio, and Tennessee.
Military - not discharged but barred from reenlistment, promotions.
Government employees - new memo said you're not fired until next year.
That’s a tremendous set of wins. Of course it could all come to not when the Supreme Court rules in but the winds are at our backs right now.
Big Three U.S. Automakers Agree to Not Mandate Vaccines for UAW Union Members

A big win for medical privacy and the principles of freedom. Ford, General Motors and Stellantis have agreed the United Auto Workers union members will not be forced to take the mandatory vaccine as a condition of employment. [UAW Announcement] Additionally, the vaccine status of the workers will remain private with a policy of private and voluntary disclosure.
UAW – At a meeting Monday evening, the COVID-19 Joint Task Force, comprised of the UAW, Ford, General Motors and Stellantis, has aligned on a policy of voluntary and confidential disclosure of vaccination status for UAW members. Each company will provide additional communication to employees on how, where and when to report their vaccination status.
In addition to encouraging members to disclose their vaccination status, the Task Force continues to urge all members, coworkers, and their families to get vaccinated and get booster vaccinations against COVID-19, while understanding that there are personal reasons that may prevent some members from being vaccinated, such as health issues or religious beliefs.
After reviewing the status of CDC and OSHA guidelines, the Task Force also decided it is in the best interest of worker safety to continue masks in all worksites at this time. (read more)
This helps swing the pendulum back toward the American worker.
“Under ordinary circumstances, firing even a single federal worker is extremely difficult,” writes The Heritage Foundation’s Rachel Greszler. “Federal managers attempting to fire an employee must prove ‘a preponderance of evidence’ and prove that dismissing the employee will improve the performance of the agency. At a minimum, firing a federal worker takes 170 days, but often it takes well over a year — and sometimes even two years. The nearly impossible process of firing a federal worker even with just cause means that federal managers almost never even attempt to dismiss or discipline workers.”
But if you refuse to get the coronavirus vaccine, now that’s crossing the line.
Biden’s message is basically, If you don’t do your job, you’ve got a steady government paycheck for life. But don’t dare refuse the COVID vaccine or you’re fired.
What about all those claims Democrats make whenever conservatives call for shrinking the federal workforce? We’re told every single one of them is a critical cog in the wheel of Big Efficient Government, and that doing away with any of them will threaten the government’s ability to function. Yet, Biden’s putting tens of thousands of jobs on the line over the vaccine.
But did anyone really think Biden was going to follow through?
Just when he seemed ready to carry out the threat, Biden backtracked, telling the American Federation of Government Employees that the unvaccinated will now receive counseling sessions instead of pink slips.
Vaccine mandates also suspended at the Cleveland Clinic, across other NE Ohio hospitals

I’m guessing now that this is happening all over the country and the elite media has just refused to report it. If your hospital or provider has suspended its mandate, please let me know.
A giant Florida hospital system has ended its vaccine mandate

Advent Health will no longer require its 83,000 employees to be vaccinated against Covid.
Given the fact the mandates are causing crippling staff shortages around the country, expect other hospitals and healthcare providers to follow soon.
Amazing that rules that are likely never even to take formal effect have caused such a crisis. Just another gift from Uncle Joe this holiday season.
Laughable: NYC and Boston companies are requiring vaccinations for 100% remote jobs out of state.
In NCI'm in western North Carolina now. Nobody is wearing masks except in one woke restaurant that we ate at. No shoppers in supermarkets, no restaurant or bar patrons, and most restaurant and bar employees, nor supermarket (Ingles) employees, are wearing masks.
