Translation: Going after the memes and ppl posting videos of public officials even though said public officials have zero legal expectation of privacy.
I remember not too long ago, an age of the internet wherein if a company changes a policy or makes something worse, their service was expected to die. User migrations were all the rage. What happened? What's different about twitter?
richwicks saysThis move to censor the population is completely antithetical to the purpose of the Internet
The purpose of the internet is for rich fucks to get more money out of this as well as control ppl.
Legally, yes. But Twitter is imposing this as their policy, which they can do.
38 so maybe I'm a geezer at this point or my intuition is right that this is a drowning cat.
The elites are taking back control. They don't like the peasants able to post images and videos - they miss the days when the MSM "news" channels had that video market on exclusive lock, and could just not show things they didn't like, and could edit videos to fit their narrative, with no possibility of one of those damn peasants tweeting out the full, unedited video.
Imagine the Kyle event if individual users couldnt post videos, and had to go through a "news" channel.
Imagine the wokesha parade - (hint - it would have had 5 black victims and a raging whyte supremacist driver).

Callin, a social podcasting app launched two months ago and is an alternative to the likes of Twitter Spaces, announced a major upgrade. The app, co-founded by former PayPal COO David Sacks, who has condemned the recent trend towards political censorship, combines the idea of social audio and podcasting.
We're going to win.
Sometimes I've felt like blaming social media for the spread of wokeness
Seeing the "news" engage in lies and coverup, and collude politically, made me realize the propaganda machine has likely been raging since forever, and are only now having opposition. I think maybe they've just recently gotten better at it (via computer tracking allowing them to use analytics to find optimal propaganda arguments for each personality type), or they've gotten more motivated.
When I have to listen to some asshole with a degree in engineering or even a pHD tell me I need to get a vaccination for a disease that kills less than 1 in 100 people, and even then, it's mostly killing people at death's door - I just give up.
The DUMBEST mother fuckers on this planet, BY FAR are the "highly educated". THEY are the useless eaters.

And even then (in just that statement), you are apparently yielding to the false premise that the jab does anything to stop you from catching, carrying, or spreading Covid.
It doesn't matter if it does or doesn't.
Oh, I believe it does matter. The widespread belief that the vaxx prevents Covid in the manner that a traditional vaccine like polio prevents polio, is dangerous.
