Eat at Corporate Restaurants at your own Peril. They will at this point feed you hamburger, with ground meat made from Feces, at this point.

Is it Bill Gates DNA? I hear he spends a lot of time in the back with the doors closed.

The article states and restates that aside from snacks, insects won't be direct food for humans, but used as a feedstock for animals like chickens, cows, and pigs. The price is currently uncompetitive with current feedstocks, but proponents think an economy of scale will tip that equation.

I don't give a fuck what some know it all Liberal journalist asshole said in his "in defense of eating mealworms" article.

I only care about the implicated truth in that the EU approved them as fit for human consumption. As livestock has always ate bugs, that has never been a food safety issue. The approval was so Ben and Jerrys can start chopping up cricket legs to give their rockyroad an extra crunch. Because the EU said it's safer than Nutella.

The European Union’s landmark decision last week to approve insects for human consumption was a victory for grubs and maggots

yeah, and there are plenty of aquaculture fish like tilapia that will primarily eat algae if there are no insects to eat. Also freshwater prawns or shrimp will eat algae as their primary diet source.

I guess it is more eco friendly to raise insects as I read crickets eat algae and fungus compared to growing corn which requires fertilizers ... algae can be naturally and easily grown ..

my backyard pond always had a lot of algae... I put in a few Florida flagfish to control the algae... putting in a couple of tilapia would have worked just as well to keep the algae level down ..
