Even the Pandemic’s Wrongest Magazine has has had enoughAlex Berenson 2 hr ago 2,066332Can’t make it up. After two years of constant hysteria, The Atlantic wants out.Remember: the United States had its third-highest monthly Covid death total ever in January 2022. No one even argues anymore whether vaccines can stop infection or transmission. Sars-Cov-2 remains exactly as real a public crisis as it ever was.So what exactly has changed? ...Easier than admitting they were wrong all along, I guess.
So basically, Democrats at the state level flinched due to direct pressure from their constituents. At the federal level, not much has really changed in terms of the recommended measures or their attitude towards the pandemic. There have also been big changes in the way measures are discussed in the media, but again this has followed, not driven, the changing tone of state Democrats.Of particular note: they haven’t really admitted any faults in their previous analysis/reporting. All they are saying is “the science has changed”. ...Only the science has not changed. The position of the federal government, including the CDC and White House, remains the same which is to recommend masks and certain restrictions.See, this is how easily they can change the narrative. They have no shame about ruining their credibility or fear that they might be fact-checked. They say “the science” and large swathes of the population obediently nod their heads.Honestly, were it not for the federal system, we would probably not be seeing these changes in the US.In places like Canada and other European Countries, the central government has a much larger role in dictating public health policy. Whatever the Prime Minister says, goes…which is why Boris Johnson can reverse all policy on Covid if he ever finds himself in a political pickle (Party-Gate). ...If you compare the landscape today to one month ago it’s night and day, so I’m actually very optimistic seeing that political pressure is creating change before elections roll around. Though this doesn’t change the importance of upcoming elections nor the reasons for voting out the people responsible. But!Another wave is guaranteed to come. So long as we’re testing, we’ll have plenty of cases and deaths are inevitable. In fact, I’m not sure that some blue states don’t go back to restrictions the moment cases start to rise. Psychologically, I don’t think a lot of people on the left are in an endemic state of mind.My point is that no progress made in the past month is irreversible. ...Anyways, let’s hope for the best but prepare for the worst.Remain vigilant and involved…this is not over by a long shot.Keep on Honking!
HEALTH / LAURA HOLLIS / FEBRUARY 10, 2022It’s Not Science That Has Changed; It’s the Political CalculusThe biggest head-turner might well be Leana Wen’s blithe statement that “the science has changed.”
Since the very beginning, crazy people like me have passionately and loudly defended dignity, compassion, reason, and human rights above the screeching fear-mongering of politicians and the money-hungry boardrooms at CNN and Pfizer. For two years, we insisted – rightly, as the data shows – that Covid was not nearly as big of a threat as the restrictions that stripped people of their humanity and the will to live. For two years, we insisted – rightly, as the data shows – that lockdowns and restrictions would not save lives. It's time that those in power be held accountable for the wreckage they left in the wake of their hubris!

it’s unravelling fast now.you’re going to see the “lock down and mask up” crowd claim they knew all along that this did not work and disavow their role in generating and perpetuating this crisis.those who censored and vilified and silenced will take up the flags of those they had just shouted down and wave them as their own.in 3 months, you will struggle to find ANYONE who admits to having supported this debacle.
and we’re going to remember.dear “experts”,while it’s nice to have you finally join us, we have some questions:where were you when we needed you?you could have stood. instead, you cowered and you quailed.you lied and you knew it.you not only allowed these outrages and denials of science to occur, but many of you cheer led for them. those who were silent merely added to the problem by allowing it to appear as “settled” when it was nothing of the sort.how can we ever trust you again?the moment came and you failed.you lay down and you fed us to the wolves.in the end, your cupidity and cowardice enabled this excursion into oppressive pseudoscientific demagoguery and dictatorship.
We're pro-vaccine but can't support California lawmaker's school COVID vaccine mandateTwo physician epidemiologists argue in this op-ed the likely costs of Sen. Pan's bill would not be worth the benefitsDr. Tracy Beth Høeg,
What will the next "crisis" look like? With COVID Mania getting stale, the ruling class needs another distractionClimate emergency? Cyber pandemic? War with Russia?Jordan Schachtel23 hr ago12437After two years of robbing billions of people across the world of their lives and livelihoods, it seems that the global ruling class has decided to roll back their prized biomedical security state. As these monsters try to wipe their hands clean of the greatest humanitarian catastrophe of the 21st century, we must remain vigilant about the possibility that they will attempt to seamlessly pivot to the next “crisis.”
I'm feeling quite uneasy about all of this coordinated reversal. They have something up their sleeve.
California bill would require COVID-19 vaccines for all employeesThe proposed legislation by Democratic state lawmakers that was immediately criticized by Republicans as government overreach.Saturday, February 12, 2022 12:01AMAssemblywoman Buffy Wicks introduced her bill months after delaying an original proposal last fall. The previous version would have allowed workers to submit to weekly testing as an alternative to getting vaccinated, but that is not an option in her new proposal.
