Funding to Ukraine over the last few years is barely a rounding error in the grand scheme of things with our ridiculous Federal budget. A lot of border wall can be built with that money for sure, but don’t pretend Ukraine funding and recycling mothballed weapons is bankrupting us.

Just watched this: Inside the Restricted Burn Zone of Lahaina - What’s It Like Now? 🇺🇸

"Over eight months ago, the deadliest fire in modern American history torched the city of Lahaina on the Hawaiian Island of Maui. So, what's it like now? Join local firefighter Jonny and me as we explore the restricted burn zone to better understand the situation from a local's perspective."

A local firefighter gives a tour of the Burn Zone, and explains the disastrous economic situation for the survivors, along with many that lost relatives, etc. FEMA has 'spent several $Billion' and yet, it's hard to see where, being that so little progress has been made. The question is asked: "The Federal Government has sent hundreds of billions of dollars to Ukraine, yet, we're being left with little help in order to cope with this disaster, and we're Americans."

Nobody is pretending that it's bankrupting us.

What we are NOT pretending is our government, OUR government won't do shit for this nation. We should overthrow it, it does not serve us.

Is that direct enough for you?

How much more do we need to peel your eyes back? Our government, is run by traitors. You refuse to see this. You are part of the problem if you pretend it's not traitors.

Instead you stupidly claim this is about money. We all know it's not, it's about treason.

Prime example of an attitude that has allowed our thoroughly corrupt government to ruin our country, and its currency.

We are now approaching a staggering $35 Trillion in official federal government debt. Over $1 Trillion per year is now required in order to pay the interest alone on that debt. Add to that another unimaginable $120 Trillion in off-budge obligations. We're just like the Titanic. We're still floating, but we are also taking on more and more water. Sooner or later, we're going to sink below the water line. What's left after that will be a lot of screaming people that will yield to panic and fear. That's when those that have orchestrated all of this will step in and take everything. You don't have to imagine what comes next because they have already told you. They will own everything, and you will own nothing, and, you will be happy; i.e., Communism on a global basis.

What were you saying @socal2 about Ukraine having one of the most powerful militaries in the world?

And the vast majority of that debt is from our out of control entitlements and domestic spending, not our military budget or funds to Ukraine, Israel or Taiwan.

Trump sounds as bad as big spending Democrats when it comes to reforming things like Medicare and Social Security which are truly responsible for our government debt.

Land based they're no slouch against what is considered the 2nd best military in the world. We're to what, year 3 of this thing? I'd say they have an above average military, mostly due to the west dumping munitions into their laps. Russia was already embedded in Eastern Ukraine, so they had a head start as well. Ukraine will eventually have to wave the white flag at some point, but I don't think they lose the entirety of their land.

And there's corruption and fraud in every war, with every country. Hell, I bet a lot of that money got into Russia somehow. And some of it probably for sure is coming back to Biden and other Congress critters. Just wait until December. I think we see a record number of pardons as people are busy with holidays and BLM will probably get going again or Antifa after Biden looses.

This transition will be exponentially worse than the joke that was J6. Yet no one will get arrested this time around.

Russia is definitely making a big push for Kharkiv and Ukraine is struggling right now for sure.

Russia is also changing tactics using small squads on dirt bikes and Chinese golf carts because all of Russia's big armored columns were getting wiped out by Ukrainian artillery and cheap drones.

I don't believe Russia has enough troops to occupy a huge city like Kharkiv, so they are just trying to get their lines close enough to set up artillery so they can try to rubble another civilian center.

The latest military package will probably hold Ukraine over through the rest of the year and the US presidential election where everyone will reassess depending on who wins.

The sooner Ukraine concedes and hands over parts the sooner this useless bloodshed and destruction is over. The Western "leaders" with their continuous provocations and overthrows overplayed their hand and then sacrificed the Ukrainian populace while assfucking their taxpayers. Fuck these traitors!

While you can quibble about Putin eliding Russia’s part in the conflict, you must admit it’s maddening that no one in the West — certainly none of Biden, Blinken, or Nod — ever mentions a negotiated end to the Ukraine war. It’s almost like all the Western leaders made a secret pact never to suggest diplomacy.

The result is they look like cowards; stinking of fear, they ceaselessly worry they’re outmatched and outwitted by the Russians, and agonise that if they negotiate with Putin, he’ll somehow wind up getting the better deal. Talking won’t work! So fighting is the only option. But they’re even too scared to fight the Russians directly. So it’s the old game, ‘how about you and him fight?’

Let’s just give the Ukrainians some more missiles and let THEM fight the Russians.

Zelensky blames ‘whole world’ for Ukraine’s failures in Kharkov

Russian forces recently captured several settlements near the city, gaining an upper hand in the region

The whole world is to blame for Ukraine’s failure to stop Russia’s recent advances in Kharkov Region and must now help Kiev to change the situation, President Vladimir Zelensky told ABC News in an interview on Thursday.

WOW! Russia is advancing everywhere and they're doing it by using 'Chinese golf carts and dirt bikes.' Maybe we should change our aid to Ukraine? How many golf carts, cheap drones and dirt bikes will $100 Billion buy? That'll show those pesky Russians how smart we are!

Do you think the Russians bought those 'cheap drones' on Amazon? If they did, Commander in Chief Biden should put a stop to it immediately!

Russians are cheap. They don't give laundering kickbacks to DC pols. It appears though that it is turning into ALL kickbacks and no war investment.

It appears that the Russian invasion using 'Chinese golf carts, dirt bikes and cheap drones' is working. This just might revolutionize the method of conducting modern warfare!

It's going from very bad to even worse for Ukraine. The smart Ukrainian men saw this coming and fled Ukraine a long time ago. They never bought into the lying hype and knew from the start that Ukraine NEVER had a chance to defeat Russia. Those left behind that will be given a gun and forced to fight at the front will only continue to add to the Ukraine soldier war dead, which is now north of 600,000!

Ukraine Enforces Desperate Conscription Laws As Russian Troops Close In On Kharkiv

Ukraine is now enforcing a new mobilization law which is being called 'divisive' among many Ukrainian citizens and some political leaders. The law requires men ages 18-60 to carry their military paperwork at all times to be presented to authorities on demand. It lowers the minimum draft age from 27 to 25 (Ukraine has a demographic shortage of men ages 18-25). And, all military age Ukrainian men abroad must come back to Ukraine to renew their passports, including refugees driven from their homes in the early days of the war.

But I've been told that the Russians are so backward that they are using Soviet Union era weaponry ...

Russian jamming rendering much US-supplied weaponry ineffective – WaPo

Kiev has had to stop using some American arms due to Moscow’s electronic warfare capabilities, Ukrainian officials have said

Many US-made munitions that rely on satellite guidance have failed to withstand Russia’s jamming technology after being supplied to Kiev, the Washington Post reported on Friday.

The Ukrainian armed forces have had to stop using some of those armaments altogether because of Russia’s extensive electronic warfare capabilities, the paper said.

The affected munitions include Excalibur GPS-guided artillery shells, rockets for HIMARS multiple rocket launch systems and JDAM aircraft-dropped bombs, the report read.

The US completely ceased deliveries of Excalibur shells half a year ago after Ukraine reported that they had been rendered ineffective, unnamed Ukrainian officials told WaPo.

The paper said that it had also reviewed an internal assessment by Kiev, according to which the success rate of the munitions fell to just 10% within several months. “The Excalibur technology in existing versions has lost its potential,” the document read, adding that the encounter with Russian jamming has disproved its reputation as a “one shot, one target” weapon.

The HIMARS system used to make headlines after being provided to Kiev in 2022, but the next year “everything ended: the Russians deployed electronic warfare, disabled satellite signals, and HIMARS became completely ineffective,” a senior Ukrainian military official complained. Because of this, Kiev had to resort to deploying the “very expensive shell” against lower-priority targets, he said.

The success rate of JDAMs also dropped significantly just weeks after they were first provided to Kiev in February 2023 as their “non-resistance” to jamming was revealed, the Ukrainian assessment stressed. During that period, the US-made bombs were missing their targets by between 200 meters and 1.2km, it said.

The Ukrainian officials told WaPo that getting the needed adjustments to the “failing weaponry” has been difficult due to “an overly bureaucratic process” in Washington. However, in the case of JDAMs, the manufacturer was able to provide a patch and the munitions are still being used by Kiev, according to the sources.

On Saturday, Russia’s President Vladimir Putin said that since the start of the conflict between Moscow and Kiev in February 2022, the production of electronic warfare equipment has increased 15-fold in the country.

Russia has warned repeatedly that deliveries of weapons systems to Kiev by the US and its allies will not prevent Moscow from achieving its military goals, adding that it will merely prolong the fighting and could increase the risk of a direct confrontation between Russia and NATO.

According to officials in Moscow, the provision of arms, the sharing of intelligence, and the training of Ukrainian troops means that Western nations have already become de-facto parties to the conflict.
