If Russia's case for the "special operation" is so strong, why didn't they show up to make it in the ICJ?

Wouldn't it be the perfect venue to provide the proof of "imminent attack on Russia", "Nazi genocide", "nuclear weapons deployment", "bioWEAPONS" and the rest of the rationale for the war?

Yet, they decided to not show up at all:

The United Nations' highest court on Wednesday ordered Russia to stop hostilities in Ukraine.

The International Court of Justice, or ICJ, granted measures requested by Kyiv although many are sceptical that Russia will comply.

Two weeks ago, Ukraine asked the ICJ -- also known as the World Court -- to intervene, arguing Russia violated the 1948 Genocide Convention by falsely accusing Ukraine of committing one and using that as a pretext for the ongoing invasion.

"The Russian Federation shall immediately suspend the special military operations it commenced on 24 February 2022," the court's president, judge Joan E. Donoghue, said.

Countries that refuse to abide by court orders can be referred to the UN Security Council, where Russia holds veto power.

...

Moscow snubbed a hearing last week when lawyers for Ukraine told the court that Russia had started an "unprovoked aggression".

If America's case for intervening in Iraq due to WMDs was so strong, why didn't they take it to the ICJ? hahahahah

Why wasn't Syria taken to the ICJ when they spent decades in Lebanon?

Why didn't the UK take it to the ICJ instead of responding to Argentina before a ruling in the Falklands?

The only country ever asked to be investigated by the ICJ, it being part of the UN, is of course, Evil Israel for building a wall in the disputed territories. And of course it didn't ask, the "while I shoot thousands of political opponents and their kids with a few gays to boot, this wall is a human rights crime" Iran did.

Fuck the UN and the ICJ, both organizations are a joke.

Nice whataboutism, but US did take its case to the UN (Powell, test tube, rings any bells?). Besides, US was never sued there over it, but Russia was. Yet, all they do is bray in their own propaganda outlets like RT and Sputnik but completely abandon such an awesome opportunity to make their case and have it translated all over the world. The videos of mass graves being excavated, images of lampshades made out of Joos skin, sattelite images of NATO nukes being deployed in the sunflower fields would make a huge impression on the world's public opinion. They could have demanded UN inspections of Ukrainian biolabs, nuclear facilities, concentration camps and mass grave sites.... You know, like UN was trying to inspect Iraq chemical weapons facilities. But they didn't.

And what did the UN say?

It didn't take it to the ICJ.

Instead, went against the conclusion of the International Inspectors that there were no WMDs, who turned out to be right.

Whataboutery used today is mostly bullshit, since it's basically "Don't you question my hypocrisy".

Whataboutery is "What about the Crusades 1000 years ago?" when talking about shit that happened in the MENA in the past few years or decades. 1000 years ago, if the King of France and the Pope said "Well, wait about your slave raids, your shakedown or outright ban on Pilgrims, and your illegal invasion and occupation and oppression of Sicily, Spain, etc.?" that wouldn't be Whataboutery.

It's not Whataboutery to point out that in the last few years, the side all butthurt about using the Globalist Neoliberal Mechanisms didn't exhaust all those outlets itself.

These postwar Globalhomo International Law orgs are bullshit.

Uighurs are in concentration camps, and the same Neoliberal-Neocons who scream bloody murder over Saddam WMDs or Russia in Ukraine can't ignore Chinese Organ Harvesting and widespread torture, murder, and Reeducation and Death Camps hard enough. It would hurt Nike and Microsoft and Apple too much.
