That's just "Disinformation" to get ahead of the 300 million the DNC plans to spend on the midterms. "They go put us back in chains and make us have that Baby!"

Yeah, this ^^^^ just to scare the sheep into voting for democrats despite them pushing LGBTQ shit on kids, coddling pedophiles, going to endless war, restricting free speech, pushing propaganda, fucking up the economy, and threatening WWIII.

"But we might lose the ability to have ABORTION!!!"

It reminds me of the homosexuals that didn't care that Obama expanded the wars instead of ending them, because he legalized gay marriage. "Killing a few million people over lies, well, that's not a big deal as long as these two guys can shove their dick up an asshole and have a legalized union recognized."

That's when, for the first time in my life, I was like "I'm not talking to a homosexual man, I'm talking to a fucking faggot".

Apparently there's a kerfluffle that there's a rumor that some Sotomayor clerk leaked the draft. Which is racist to blame the Wise Latina... excuse me, Wise Latinx.

Until it comes out that a Sotomayor clerk really did, in which case they will be the Hero of Democracy(tm) Whistleblower(tm).
5   SunnyvaleCA   2022 May 2, 10:21pm

I believe an official decision is expected before the elections. So I don't think elections were the goal. If you wanted to effect the elections, leaking shortly before the elections would be more effective.

Instead, I think that leaking the document was to create such a giant wailing that one of the 5 switches sides. It was to influence the court.

They'll just have to travel for their abortions. I hear there are cheap rates at select embryo rending and processing hotels in Mexico.

It's designed to rile up people who were not going to vote in November.

It's interesting that the women most concerned about this issue are past reproductive age.

I'm in favor of abortion; I even don't mind it retroactively for gang banging punks with welfare queen mothers.

They just released a statement saying they were going to have the Court Marshall investigate the leak.

Shitlibs are trying to compare a crackhead abandoning his computer at a repair shop to a Clerk deliberately leaking deliberations.

Draft authenticity confirmed by Chief Justice John Roberts! He also pledged not to change the decision.

What is the legal reasoning behind overturning it?

It was never my particular battle, but I have been horrified at the stories of late abortions. Clearly a fetus can feel pain pretty early on.

No basis in the Constitution or Common Law precedence; abortion had always been banned or tightly regulated. Therefore, reserved to the States.

Here is the opinion:

https://babylonbee.com/news/after-chanting-all-night-crowd-of-worshippers-still-cant-get-moloch-to-answer-them\

WASHINGTON, D.C.—After gathering at the steps of the Supreme Court and chanting all through the night in support of abortion, a crowd of worshippers are still having a hard time getting their pagan god Moloch to hear them.

"We've chanted, and danced, and even cut ourselves with knives, but still, Moloch is silent," said protest leader and male feminist Skeeve Rapenburg. "Why does he not hear? Why won't he send down fire from the sky and consume this infernal SCOTUS building? MOLOCH! HEAR US!"

Sources at the scene have suggested that Moloch may possibly be on vacation, sitting on the toilet with terrible diarrhea, or binging the latest season of My Little Pony on Netflix. To get the attention of the ancient god of child blood sacrifice, the protestors will have to resort to even more extreme attention-seeking methods, such as arson or screaming into the camera in a TikTok video.

"We will not rest until the great Moloch hears us," shouted Rapenburg, banging his drums even louder.

At publishing time, the crowd was discussing the possibility of sacrificing a beautiful virgin to get the god's attention but failed to do so after being unable to find any virgins.

This is bullshit to get the liberals up in arms. I've seen 40 years of my government doing nothing, and I can't believe they will actually do something.

The supreme court is bullshit, they won't upset the manure heap.

We add a new justice and suddenly there is a leak? Strange coincidence, eh?

As far as this issue goes, personally views aside, I'd want to read the final opinions once issued. Making abortion, or restriction thereof, a state decision, rather than a federally protected right, is probably constitutionally correct. The inverse argument would fall under the equal protection clause... why can I have a "medical procedure" in state A but not state B? Similar to the way gay "marriage" became the law of the land.

Just wait.. the far left will call for packing the court over this, if the final decision is anywhere close to this draft, irrespective of the legal arguments for or against the ruling.

Roe v. Wade was 7 men deciding to legalize abortion with no precedence in law or Constitution, based on "penumbras of privacy" (ie grasping at straws; fiat).
33   Patrick   2022 May 3, 10:10am

On reflection, I think there is a strong basis to conclude that it's a state's right to choose whether to allow abortion or not.

The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.

Pretty funny satire!

The idea that ANY child would be honestly pro-abortion is unbelievable.
I had to explain to my 12 year old boy about what it is and means and he was honestly horrified that anyone would ever do that.

You forget the prime mover of the law: "If you can't be just, be arbitrary." They can find some weasle way to decide however they want.

The 'new' court will merely regard the law as a sort of suggestion and will rule by feelz and political directives. Puppet President, puppet court.

Maybe this is just to enrage the bug eyed, spittle tossing Kommie left and consolidate them into further atrocities on rights and the population.

Until men have reproductive rights, abortion should be illegal. Right now, women have the upper hand to wreck lives - and we see this every day. We really live in a matriarchy .
(ie if an unmarried woman decides to get pregnant or there is an accidental pregnancy, the man should have the right to refuse to pay support. )
Today, women get better access to healthcare, graduate at far higher rates from college, are not subject to the draft, etc...

All that our pro-choice values have done to date is allow one sex to "decide" to wreck a man's financial life. The power is left to the woman's decision, vs the state. At least if abortion was illegal, then neither party really has a "decision" that impacts the other. Both are in that wreckage together, equally.

If you want to legalize abortion, then be consistent: If she is not married - fine - keep the baby but the man should have the right to a "financial" abortion. If she wants to abort - fine - that is her decision as it is her body.
