Take a look. Humid and you can still get snow, but one of the better places to live east of the Mississippi. MS and AL are great choices too. Close to the gulf or Atlantic. Regional airlines that can get you to Mexico or Caribbean. I don't think I could live West of the Mississippi. Love the Rockies and Sierras, but not worth the cost to be out west and generally still deal with shitty weather, fires and similar.
