I like to think of it as gaining sanity :)
It would be crazy to have a conversation with my 20 year old self. It would be so hilarious to talk to myself in that time, and explain to my young self how I was wrong about so many things. I still retain all the knowledge and justifications for my reasoning, and I would just say "well, this is how you're incorrect".
