She was probably accustomed to getting a free pass from her teachers because shes an oppressed brown womyn. She also knew she got a pass when she was hired - I wouldnt be surprised if the hiring manager giggled as she whispered into her treasured statistic-improving new hire's ear about how she throws whyte male resumes in the trash to help reduce toxicity in her office.

And note that nobody in her office bothered to check her work - they only did it once an external complaint put a spotlight onto her.

Yep, until the organizations she quoted were like "We have nobody by that name working for us". And I bet it had to happen several times, and possibly a threatened lawsuit or two, before anybody checked.
