Oh cry me a river, it could have gone the other way. Had the majority of the Republican Congress NOT been Majority RINOs and were voting for in favor of removing KM. Then 8 RINOs would have voted with the Democrats to keep him. I bet nobody would be crying Crocodile tears then!

Republican Rep. Matt Gaetz has alleged that former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) is still leading the Democrats from the shadows, with Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) serving as “just a frontman.”

During an appearance on Newsmax, Gaetz said Pelosi “still rules with an iron fist.” ...

Gaetz said it is Pelosi’s control of House Democrats which allows them to stay in lockstep.

“By the way, she’s still the one in charge of that conference,” Gaetz continued

“I mean, Hakeem Jeffries is the frontman, but the person who’s really calling the shots among the Democrats is Nancy Pelosi.”

There is no "diversity" within the Dems. The "self identified moderates" religiously toe the Democrat line.

What about those +15 Dems who won in former Republican districts ? They all do whatever Stretch Face Nancy Pelosi wants via Hakeem Jeffries.

Stretch Face Nancy Pelosi

She's just another avatar for the Senior Executive Service. Her clout comes with Intel Agency threats aforethought. After all, the original Nancy was always a Mob Moll.

💉 On Wednesday, I covered the breaking story about a Montana NIH lab infecting bats with a SARS-like virus from Wuhan back in 2018, right before the pandemic started. I was pleased to see that Representative Matt Gaetz (R-Fl.) picked up the story yesterday, and among other salty comments on his podcast, suggested the NIH’s experiments were “potentially criminal.”

https://twitter.com/WhiteCoatWaste/status/1720055072791392367

Now we’re getting somewhere. More talk like this, please. (And then, of course, action.)

Gaetz also said the new information about the lab would be help lawmakers “root out these inappropriate foreign collaborations.” Yes! Root them out!

Well, bills get introduced all the time and often go nowhere. But still, a good idea.

Matt is completely qualified for the job, especially from Trump’s point of view, since he is yet another victim of weaponized federal government and false prosecution. The short version is, in 2021 (during the pandemic), while Matt was fiercely fighting Biden’s lockdown and mandate agenda, the FBI quietly opened an investigation into “child sex trafficking” against the Congressman. Then, they un-quietly leaked their investigation to the Washington Post, which ran multiple, breathless front-page stories, all anonymously sourced, about the Gaetz investigation.

Later, once Matt’s reputation was fully soiled, the FBI quietly dropped the investigation. Whoops! Never mind! This time, there was hardly any media coverage. Here’s a Federalist story with more details about the sordid affair.

Yesterday, when President Trump announced Gaetz’s selection, the non-MAGA world went wild. Everybody knows the Senate must confirm Trump’s nominations, and Democrats and corrupt FBI agents pray that Senatorial RINOs will buck Trump and refuse to confirm Representative Gaetz as Attorney General.

That would be a stupid move is all I'll say. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2026_United_States_Senate_elections

Not good for midterms even if the RINO's don't like it. That incumbent map looks a lot different in 2026 for Senate seats if Republicans cannot play nice in the sandbox with each other. You have Congress and a lame duck POTUS that gives no shits, but does things that will benefit your constituents. Suck it up and approve Matt when the time comes.

The risk is higher you get tossed out of the senate come election time. I would just roll out the red carpet for Trump appointees even if you dislike the people he's selecting.

.

I suspect Gaetz may not become the Attorney General, but I am willing to bet he'll be in the Trump admin like as a close advisor.

Gaetz don't need the money as he already comes from a family that is worth at least a $30 million, and he sold a book and made money off of it, and also made money off of real estate sales.

I don’t see how he won’t get through. Only way is if enough RINO’s tuck dick and don’t approve.

I technically am not the biggest fan of his. But if you know attorneys you have to be an ass hole. I guess what I’m saying no politics involved I wouldn’t see being a friend with him and he’s roughly my age.

Outside of the DUI I don’t see or hear anything besides senators just not liking him. If he wasn’t well known I doubt people would approach him in public. He’s the guy your friends are friends with and you roll your eyes when he shows up.

Murkowski and Collins already publicly oppose him. Assuming 53 Republicans, we only have to lose two more. Supposedly utahs new senator is milquetoast in the mold of Romney.

Yes absolutely. I want a nice guy drafting my living trust and family planning documents. For a criminal case, I want a competitive guy who’s outwardly polite but will use any advantage he can find. For a civil case I want the biggest shark in the world advocating my case.

For a person leading the prosecution of Deep State agents, is there anybody better than someone who had Federal lawfare used against them????

Score One for The Swamp:

UNLESS this was Trump's 4D chess move all along. We'll see who he picks next.

For now, the UniParty gets what it wanted. Gaetz is out of DC.

...and a clear message has been sent to any other MAGA rebels thinking of being Gaetz-wannabes.
67   stereotomy   2024 Nov 21, 10:44am

"They" probably got to his family.

This is a fight that only those willing to potentially die in the attempt will commit to. Trump is entering his final years - he's OK with that. Musk is from South Africa, so maybe he knows about proper security. RFK Jr might be the most untouchable, considering "they" killed his uncle, his father, MLK, etc. I don't know about Vivek, but Tulsi might be willing to lay down her life for her country (she has no kids and is ex-military).

Ultimately, Team Trump will either succeed (by legally trying and executing the traitors to our country) or die by the traitors' hands.

Sonny Hostin forced to give legal notice about Matt Gaetz on The View:

https://www.coffeeandcovid.com/p/walking-backwards-thursday-november

The Times of India ran another back-walking story yesterday, headlined “Matt Gaetz: Sunny Hostin reads Matt Gaetz's legal note on 'The View' amid allegations.” This might set the record for the fastest walkback ever. Monday’s far-left The View included a short segment where Sonny Hostin ranted about Trump’s nomination of Florida Representative Matt Gaetz for Attorney General. Hostin exclaimed in outrage, “how could you nominate someone who had sex with a 17-year-old … (and) once he found out she was 17, he stopped having sex with her??”

A three-minute commercial break followed. Then, the very next heartwarming segment began with Whoopi Goldberg, who started the fun off by cheerily saying, “Sonny! You have a legal note.” Sonny Hostin, with the blood drained so far out of her face she almost changed races, and with the voice of a grown woman forced to utter something so appalling that she wished she had the courage to quit instead, answered, “I do have a legal note, thank you Whoopi,” in a tone that was clearly anything but thankful.

Just look at that face. That face is the reverse-opposite of “Sunny.”

A lot must have happened over that short three-minute commercial break. Someone explained to the View’s harridans they crossed the actionable-defamation line; they discussed handling the ‘legal note’ in the next segment; somebody rapidly drafted a statement for Hostin to read; and Hostin herself, fuming, must have practiced at least once.

To say ABC’s lawyers are on a hair-trigger is a bit of an understatement. Another way to view what happened is the View ladies are now on a very short leash, a leash against which Sonny Hostin is obviously straining, but a leash that quickly brought her to heel.

Between Butler County’s law-defying Commission Chair, and not-so-Sonny on the View, that makes two high-profile leftie walkbacks in one week. What may we thank for this irresistable pressure against loony leftwing chatter? I humbly suggest to you the answer is: us, the people, exercising our free speech on Twitter.

Thanks to the First Amendment and Twitter’s disintermediation of mainstream news, the cycle time from babble to walkback is now measured in minutes. Or, maybe I’ve missed something. What do you think explains this wonderful development?

In the dunking booth to flush out the enemy RINOs and Congress critters into the open? Then: Gaetz to Rubio's Senate seat? Was it always repositioning the pieces on the board?

Ahhhh. Good point.

They did the classic which way is the wind blowing toss of grass in the air when golfing. He forgoes 2 months of pay and a new strategy is formed. Either way I like Trump picking younger people even if it doesn't work out. There's definitely some strategy going on.

The asshole RINO senators need to go, a pox on them.
Susan Collins looks like a monkey; Mitch McConnell like an old turkey; Murkowski I don't have an animal for and Curtis I don't know.
Please, please, let McConnell have another stroke, but this time a massive one.

Nothing you can do if you're not in that state unfortunately. They need to vote them out. I don't understand why republicans always shoot themselves in the foot.

Democrats look in way worse shape the next 4 years. But i don't understand why the R's cannot unite. I don't think I'd be friends with Gaetz, he seems like a prick. But that's what you need as an AG. Also I get SCOTUS nominations, but cabinet members? Feel like this is a flaw in the constitution. Does POTUS get to approve congress staff? No. Trump is the Executive, he should get who he wants to work for him in his branch.

It's the pedo shit. I guess Trump looked into whatever surfaced during the House investigation and decided he doesn't want to be anywhere near that.
