History will judge you harshly if you forced or coerced people to receive the shots.

The mandates are immoral and without scientific merit.

Is would be prudent at this point to notoriously reverse your position and apologize to those you have abused.

If “the pandemic is over” as Biden says, then all of the President’s emergency powers predicated on a pandemic, all COVID vax mandates, the emergency powers of every governor, Emergency Use Authorizations, and the PREP act should all be voided tomorrow

Yeah, the COVID vaccine is just an immunity booster as marketed by the CDC and its business partners Big Pharma. Supposedly it does more good than harm.

But I am learning that the previous NIH director is now whistleblowing that Fauci funded "gain of function" research in regard to viruses. Fauci claimed he did not, as that would connect him with the Wuhan virology lab.

I wonder if this will get further exposed, and how much Biden is protecting Fauci (for now).

The pandemic is temporarily over along with us temporarily not being in a recession BEFORE this midterm election.

The same goes with gas prices not increasing before this midterm election.

And the only thing increasing or improving is Biden's popularity rating according to Woke and corporate media.

Points out that the genocidal and unconstitutional "Prep Act" started under Trump. It lets all medical providers kill you and make money from your death, completely depriving you of the right to sue unless you can prove intent. It overrides all state laws, which is clearly unconstitutional right on the face of it.

It's a massive incentive for medical negligence, and that's what we got. Unless you believe they intended to kill people, which is also plausible.

Check out the disclaimer on the new menus at Beans Cafe and Bakery in Northern Kentucky! Governor @AndyBeshearKY tried to shut down this restaurant during COVID, but the owner refused to comply with his tyranny. These are the real patriots

You can’t possibly say you are pro-freedom and support COVID vax mandates.

In fact, if you’re an elected official and you’re not actively opposing vaccine mandates, you’re pretty much worse than useless for liberty.

Because the jab doesn’t stop spread, there is no gray area.

The incoming GOP House majority can defund every executive order. I would start with the COVID-19 vaccine mandates that are unconstitutional and illegal.

I don't believe it.

The FBI exists to oppress the public and protect the oligarchy. They will never truly be investigated and absolutely none of the FBI's horrible crimes will be prosecuted.

Feb. 1, 2023

On Tuesday, Congressman Thomas Massie gave a speech explaining the reasons the vaccine mandate against healthcare workers must end.

“I rise in support of this resolution because it would facilitate the passage of HR 497, the Freedom for Healthcare Workers Act,” he said. “What does that bill do? It ends the unscientific, illogical, immoral, unconstitutional, unethical vaccine mandate on healthcare workers that is predicated on lies.”

He listed the five predicates for the mandate that turned out to be lies:

1. The vaccine prevents spread

2. The vaccines don’t cause any harm

3. The mandates are scientific

4. Natural immunity should be ignored

5. Nobody’s liable for the damage the mandate can cause

As he put it, “We’re living under medical malpractice martial law right now under the PREP Act and the EUAs.”

He concluded by dropping the ultimate truth bomb. “This is the epitome of hypocrisy. Nobody in this room was mandated to take a vaccine, and we’re voting on whether we’re going to force people who want to take care of people whether they have to take the vaccine.”

The House of Representatives has voted in support of a bill that would force manufacturers to tell consumers if Internet-connected devices have a built-in camera or microphone.

On February 27, House lawmakers overwhelmingly voted in favor of the measure.

The move hand enforcement of the rule over to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC).

That requirement does not cover certain devices, such as “a telephone (including a mobile phone), a laptop, tablet, or any device that a consumer would reasonably expect to have a microphone or camera.” ...

The motion’s opponents include a number of well-known conservative and libertarian lawmakers.

Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY), Rep. Dan Bishop (R-NC), Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ), and Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) all voted against it.

Why did Massie vote against H.R. 538? He usually sounds very reasonable, so there must be a reason. Could not find the reason on his website:

https://massie.house.gov/

There should be a website with a place for the public to discuss each Congressman and his/her votes. Oh, wait, patrick.net is that place! Just need to make it more popular.

@Patrick - want to build it? I'll help.

You're running a virtual machine for this site, you can add another website as well. Well I think you can with nginx - I know you can with Apache. You'd just have to get another domain name, you can even sign up for a free one, but it will be rather ugly as a name.

You need an easy way to access each congressman by name, perhaps by map and zipcode.

Primarily, you have to hold people's feet to the fire as well about what they claim, ESPECIALLY in politics. Somebody who consistently produces incorrect information needs to be flagged, and they should be able to respond to the criticism, but with at least a 3 day timeout so they can properly come up with a defense of their statements and reasoning. Either correct their post (or article), or explain why they were unfairly criticized, and that puts the OTHER person on the defense.

Let people freely discuss what they believe and feel and so on, but when it comes to facts and data, people have to back it up, and people that FALSELY accuse people of presenting false data and facts, they get into the hotseat as well. Slow down the conversation intentionally in order to force people not respond hastily.

Most people who are wrong, are simply misinformed or ignorant and there's nothing wrong in that - people are misinformed and they make mistakes, but in politics, there's PLENTY of people who will just straight up fucking lie. Russia hacked our election after all, how did they do that? <<Crickets>>

The NYT gave Congressman Tom Massie (R-Kentucky) 3 pages in last Sunday's paper
And they could not find anything bad to say. Which is why he is my favorite Member of Congress. A Jeffersonian.

It is a very long article so I won’t post the rest, but you can see the guy is smart, sharp, and he isn’t afraid of anyone. Note: he is simply honest about the fact that the electricity to fill up his Tesla comes primarily from coal in Kentucky; in your neighborhood it might come from nuclear, natural gas, or oil. Most people think the Tesla is “clean” but that electricity has to come from somewhere.

Support his PRIME Act that would allow local farmers to sell meat locally without a lot of federal rigmarole that has put many out of business. He also is drafting a similar Act for selling fresh milk locally. And he wants to end the Department of Education. He was a speaker 2 weeks ago at the Attack on Food and Agriculture I hosted.

Rep. Massie, Judiciary Committee Launch Probe Into Reports Biden Admin Pressured FDA Over COVID Booster Approval

Republican Kentucky Rep. Thomas Massie sent letters Monday to senior Food and Drug Administration (FDA) vaccine officials, letting them know the House Judiciary Committee will be investigating allegations the Biden administration interfered in the FDA’s authorization and licensure of the COVID-19 vaccines.

The Daily Caller first obtained the letters to Dr. Marion Gruber and Dr. Philip Krause, both of whom resigned following President Joe Biden’s announcement in August 2021 calling for adults to receive a COVID-19 booster shot, which Massie says “put undue pressure on FDA health officials to quickly authorize the vaccinations.”

Nice, but does anything ever happen as a result of these investigations? I suspect not.
