So open/concealed carry is now protected by constitution?

Or do people have to sue now to get the unconstitutional laws removed?

(Kind of funny side note, I've carried without a permit since forever anyway like most people, because no one can get permits).

California has red flag laws, but under the 'historical tradition' test, red flag laws should be unconstitutional," he said

That's good. Because the Senate RINOs just voted for red flag shit.

If I understand correctly, you can't be red flagged without a hearing first and can face your accuser/s.

They are all having shit fits and have no understanding of the constitution and it’s supporting documents.

I can’t understand why all of them that are pro freedom supposedly to do whatever they want with their lives want the government to tell everyone what they can and can’t do with respect to rights given by a person’s creator (whoever one believes that to be.)

I wonder if we'll be able to buy ammunition without all the tracking? Mail-order ammunition was really nice: Better prices and more options.

I will apply for a CCW with my county sheriff

If for nothing else, it’ll be educational

Protected by the constitution, just as long as your vindictive Karen neighbor, or jilted Ex, doesn't throw out any red flags.

I'll have to start doing my research on handguns. With the ammo situation, I'll probably have to stick to the most common rounds. I figure one for me and one for the wife. Decisions, decisions . . .

The FBI did an extensive study on what the best overall defensive round was and they decided the 9MM was it.

I expect it will take more lawsuits for California to comply. We have a commie super majority in our house and senate and californians in general are super I’ll informed and mostly retarded so that will be an issue as well.

yeah laws haven't been changed here at all. so will require lawsuits to remove them. if you want a permit, you really can't get one unless you are a police officer or well connected rich person. I carry without a permit for that reason.

Even once concealed/open carry becomes legal for all in CA again, I'd still be hesitant to shoot someone. From what I've seen, its not intuitive what you must do when defending yourself to avoid getting prosecuted for murder. This seems intentional - a trick to discourage defensive gun ownership.

Of course, I'd rather take my chances landing in prison than a casket.

Now THAT is something that should go to the supreme court to decide...the rules under what constitutes "Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness". The Life part needs some clarification of when you can and cannot defend it. We used to shoot cattle rustlers on site legally.
