That's my take as well. Love or hate her, it's a diplomatic visit by the 2nd in line after Harris to POTUS. It's a pretty serious threat if true. It would be WWIII overnight if something like that happened. I want her out, but a human life is just that. Maybe she's made decisions that have killed people, but murders are the only people I have no issue with being killed. And pedos. I don't believe she's that.
That said I don't think China would be dumb enough to do something like that. There's plenty of prominent and massively wealthy Americans that have more influence that go to Taiwan all the time. Outside of her House rank, and insider trading, she's really not that big of a deal. I don't see where or how China would see a visit as a threat.
