Last night, Elena and I ate at our favorite Peninsula Chinese restaurant, Lee Ho Fook. While we were enjoying one our favorite dishes, Spicey Frankfurter Hot Pot, a gentleman seated at a nearby table asked us if we would like to try a special herbal tea. He reminded me of an herbalist whom I knew when I lived in South Africa, who was unfortunately killed in a Mau Mau uprising in Kenya. Ghastly affair. Elena and I graciously acepted his offer, and had the most unsual tasting tea ever. The next day, I woke up on Poplar Beach, wearing a large rabbit suit, with an unspooled VCR tape of the original Spartacus movie laying nearby in the sand. I must tell Elena about this wonderful experience, as soon as I find her.
