Why is Mike Lindel being passed over for Ron DeSantis?

The only thing Ron has done is not do what the left wants. He hasn't really made any real strides in ensuring Florida stays free after his term. He's only doing populist decisions to bolster his Presidential brand. Mike has put everything on the line, long before Ron DeSantis got his moment of clarity. By time Ron acted against Covid lockdown measures, he allowed almost two years of oppression, and millions of Florida small businesses closed down. By time he took action, Floridians were already speaking out and revolting against it.

Ron DeSantis came on the scene as a Bush dynasty resource, they promoted him and helped his campaign. He ran Brenda Snipes out of town, but he didn't prosecute or completely destroy the Democrats play book. In fact he allowed that model to spread around the country, when he could have exposed their tricks after the 2018 election.

I think Mike Lindell will be the next white knight, he's now battling to take control of the RNC and fire the GOP lawyers and excise the RINO enablers. I hope him the best in that endeavor, if he's successful, he will have earned a spot on the 2024 or 2028 ticket.

If DeSantis abandons Florida to run for president we'll know he is just another politician at best, deep state actor at worse.

FFS - can't win with some people. DeSantis is now deep state if he decides to run in 2024?

The last thing we need is another celebrity (like Lindell) with no government experience and no allies working in the bureaucracy to help get his policies enacted.

One of the great failings of Trump (no fault of his own) was that he had no affective team to manage and work around the bureaucracy that were constantly trying to sabotage his presidency. Often times Trump would pick righteous fights but was unable to execute because he didn't have his ducks in a row to deal with all the B.S.

DeSantis knows how to play the game. We need more than just a wrecking ball, we need someone who can work to improve the systems from within.

Yep. I still suspect Trump too.

His failing was not standing up to the fury on inauguration day, that sent all of his original staff picks, fleeing Washington. I thought they were cowards at the time, but now I realize they know Trump too well, and knew he wouldn't stand up for them when it mattered. Trump played too cool, and didn't want to inflame the Democrats. Even though it didn't matter what he did, they would create shit out of everything he did anyway. People blame Kushner and his daughter, but I think Trump was too busy playing the middle, with diplomacy in politics rather than brass tacks approach. He liked to announce every move, which would get THEM out ahead of him, to make it sound unpopular and twist his words. He would always then puss out on promises he just made to his base, trying to placate the left and kiss their asses. I think Kushner and his daughter were actually working on the world policies that we credited Trump for. But in retrospect, Kushner and Ivanka most likely laid the groundwork for him to then sign the papers and look great. He was always dueling with the Media the Libs and his own party to have ever got things done.

All of that said, I'll still take Trump again over any wokester, and he's still better than any other Republican option at this point. No it's NOT DeSasntis' turn. If he is indeed worthy of being president, he's got to reach Political maturity, which wont happen until 2026 after his FL Gov term.

Mike Lindel is a moron. I don't dislike him, but he's not a leader. A good 10-20% of people I know are from MN. They're idiots. They're a mix of midwestern and Canadian. How's Trudeau working out? That's what you get from a Minnesotan. Making pillows is way different than running the country. He's an ally, but has no business running for office. None. Gotta call it how I see it.

2nd or 3rd quarter of 2023, definitely by the end of September
