Flying out tomorrow to Miami for a quick cruise. Worried shit will hit the fan with this Covid shit again and being stuck on a ship. My anxiety is level 8-9 to be honest. I don't know why I agree to this shit. I'll have fun, but I hate putting myself in a position to get fucked over because of the flu. Going to another country at a hotel/resort/house is no biggie. I'm at the mercy of these mother fuckers on a ship though. They'll lock your ass in your room. Kid free though. Hopefully all goes well. 1st world problems.
Vast majority of flight attendants are gay. Rarely is there a cute (female) FA on a flight I'm on. Maybe once or twice in the last 5 years of flying roughly 50 times. For the decent looking chicks the uniform doesn't belong on if you catch my drift. Just know you'll get an STD 9 out of 10 times. Air whores.

At most, there will just be another "booster" push for more big pharma profit drive.

But COVID 23 is a fear monger fest, still not much different than a cold for the vast majority of people. They are just beating a dead horse because people buy into the fear. By the way, you know why ticket sales For flights out of China are in such demand? The people leaving are escaping the next lockdowns which are sure to follow the scare tactics. See what happens when we loosened restrictions! Now we need to lock you down even harder, for your safety of course.

China is the problem of the Chinese. If people aren't allowed to flee then they are stuck with a problem for which they need a solution, instead of leaving the problem.
You want to over-turn a government? Stop allowing refugees to flee the government you want to over-turn. This is basic logic.

Instead of letting people flee from Ukraine, stick them there, they'll solve the problem, but the problem is, Zelenskyy. Given no other option, they'll overthrow the fucker I think, and the US doesn't want that. Does the US want to topple China's regime?
The US is employing this tactic in Russia, but it doesn't appear that Russians want to overthrow their regime. If you're Russian, you cannot move your money when you flee, and who is fleeing Russia? Well, some political dissidents, some people who recognize their government is criminal, and a bunch of mafia fucks.
If the US was really an economic power, instead of a military power, we could lead by example, and not by threat. We only have the stick, and we lost the carrot a long time ago.

China faces a surge in travel after Beijing eased its draconian COVID-19 policies as Chinese citizens look to capitalize on renewed opportunities to journey abroad. On Tuesday morning, airline ticket sales for flights going out of China were 254% greater than the day before. The travel surge has sparked fears in other countries, mainly Western ones, whose leaders worry that the travelers could carry COVID-19 with them.
British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak authorized a new measure that will require all travelers from the Chinese mainland to have a negative COVID-19 test to enter the country, starting Jan. 5, according to the Financial Times. From Jan. 8 onward, British authorities will randomly test travelers from China.
Health secretary Steve Barclay defended the measure as “a balanced and precautionary approach by announcing these temporary measures while we assess the data.”
France also announced a mandatory negative COVID-19 test for all travelers from China, who must also wear a mask during flights to the country. The government had previously said that there was no need for restrictions, as the country believed the number of travelers coming from China was negligible.
