The vans can detect demodulation. The van will periodically visit addresses that have not bought the TV license. Radio (except in cars) also require a license.

They're doing their best to assassinate his character in response to his correctly indicating they are State Funded Media, right down to their hypothecated annual license fee attached to every television operated in the UK which is set and enforced by Parliament specifically for the support of the BBC. The equivalent of having a mandatory CPR (the master public private monstrosity in charge of NPR/PBS) fee annually for every radio or tv in the USA explicitly to support it.

It back fired on Elon not doing enough to stop Misinformation on Twitter, the interviewer couldn't give one example when pressed. I find it a little amusing that NPR, or really any of the legacy propaganda media thinks they are wanted at all.

What really killed Youtube was the constant unrelenting promotion of propaganda on that site in the form of MSNBC, Fox, etc and the removal of actual information sources. Rumble is now a better site in my opinion, simply because none of the legacy propaganda is on there. Nobody wants to see that shit.
