AN FRANCISCO — A former OpenAI researcher known for whistleblowing the blockbuster artificial intelligence company facing a swell of lawsuits over its business model has died, authorities confirmed this week.

Suchir Balaji, 26, was found dead inside his Buchanan Street apartment on Nov. 26, San Francisco police and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner said. Police had been called to the Lower Haight residence at about 1 p.m. that day, after receiving a call asking officers to check on his well-being, a police spokesperson said.

The medical examiner’s office has not released his cause of death, but police officials this week said there is “currently, no evidence of foul play.”

Information he held was expected to play a key part in lawsuits against the San Francisco-based company.

It’s well known that AI models use lots of content including copyrighted. Somehow he ended up in between big giants and became a victim.

We need a new word to blast anyone who is concerned about the downsides of AI. I know - CYBERPHOBIC.

"Our company frowns on cyberphobia"

"Why are you protesting AI taking your job? You must be cyberphobic."

Looks like ChatGPT s going into porn.

So much for AI curing cancer and giving us fusion energy.

The energy & water hoggishness of the data centers are going to be real popular now.

Why can’t they wipe out realtors. The only truly not real job.

And mortgage brokers. It's all data.

Yep glorified useless middle men.

I think readtards are generally bullies who get weak-minded people to make a decision, in the realtards favor. Like Life Insurance types. And Car Salesmen.

Around here, real estate agents are mostly women. If you are selling a home and can find a buyer on your own, you do not need a real estate agent. If you cannot find a buyer on your own, you need to use one.

Based on the article looks like Nvidia is buying up competitors so they can keep monopoly pricing. Feds seem to allow it, elites are all invested in it at the top.

Majore Taylor Greene said Trump admin has returned favors to the tech elites for their support in his 2024 campaign, so maybe that is why the Feds (DOJ) are not taking them to court.

Trump seems to like the CEO of Nvida as much as he likes Tim Cook.

Wonder what happens if a Democrat like Newsom wins in 2028, especially since he is from California. I am not sure Newsom's DOJ would be much different in regards to tech company monopolies.

I think Trump is more concerned with bringing production to the US than he is worried about any monopoly.

Newsome would use the threat of anti-trust action to get donations.

Weird how this concept works in America these days. Original intent was for charities. Ended up being just scams. I’m not talking openAI, I mean every other non profit. Always scammy charity or corp.

Original intent is often just a scam disguised as a charity.

I’m at a point I really think that honest people are in single digits in America considering how widespread fraud is.

Me younger looking at rich people thinking they earned it. Now I just know they stole it somehow.
