I have no idea. I suspect there's leaks about some kind of national enforcement, perhaps using the military (in concert with, deputized as, Feds) coming down the pike.

They're preparing the battle ground to make the idiopolous think that Trump's actions against election fraud are illegal. They are falling on their swords for their bosses, though they narrowly avoid overt sedition and treason, but not by much.

The problem with Trump's response is that he directly responded to an implied call for a military coup without clearly explaining the issue. The 1st ammendment protects the commercial, as it doesn't demand immediate action by the troops. Trump should explain that refusing to obey a lawful command by improperly claiming illegality will get you a dishonorable discharge, jail time, and possibly a fireing squad.

I agree with the idea that one purpose of this operation is to bait some woked-up military commander to refuse some, any, order which will become a rallying point and a new media campaign of the intensity and focus of Russia, Russia, Russia or *Saint George Floyd*, swamping the narrative leading up to the mid-terms.
