How do they calculate these numbers?
Add state EDD information and agregate them. In the week of xx, 472,000 unemmployment claim was filed, in the prior week prior to that, it was 460,000. That is a monthly run rate of around 2M. It takes 2M hiring (not including hiring people who quit their jobs to join another company and not file unemployment) to keep net jobs added at 0.
It's only a matter of time before Obama's Job Stimulus plan kicks in. Why not order another Census? That'll create some good, long term jobs. LOL
and next week when it drops by a whopping 5000, everyone will scream "recovery" again.
"We're adding jobs!!!!!" ha!
I want the government to use my taxes in a wise way ... not counting beans
