Just an attempt to find suckers overseas.
A lot of overseas "investors" were burned to the ground during the crash, they think they can find more. Logically putting it, if a salesman (realtor) has to go out of their way to try to sell you something it's probably not worth buying.
Since the housing bubble was felt all around the world, I doubt this marketing will change much.
I just looked at ths MLS today and noticed something different. It lets agents allow their their listing to be visible internationally. I don't think they'd do this unless there has been demand from overseas. They're even offering Webinars to support it.
