Apparently Redfin posted and then yanked a report on real estate sales by realtors. It showed exactly how much a realtor has sold.

They yanked it just before I could run a check on one problematic realtor. My guess is that Redfin shut it down in response to realtor's screams.

Its interesting that Redfin shut down the Scouting Report shortly after a link to it was posted on drhousingbubble.

Its also interesting that the CEO of Redfin gives the exact same excuse for taking down the Report as Google did when they eliminated the real estate search function on Google Maps.

Exact same excuse - "errors".

Yeah right. *rolls eyes*

is there a back up of it anywhere?

They have to yank it. Every Realtor(r) I talk to always has so many stories about past transactions to show their experience. But after extensive research, it turns out that the said agent just obtained their license and likely has had zero sales.

I don’t think it was a list of all realtors and their sales. I think it was a database that you could query for specific realtors.

i can think up lots of errors.

1. MLS' that dont participate (they said ventura county doesnt)
2. Out of MLS sales realtors can still represent (are these there?)
3. What about an agent helping someone buy at courthouse(again out of mls, this is a small niche though since the FedBanksters barely sell anything to 3rd parties)

It should be accurate as possible, right?

It could be an accurate list of sales as they are recorded in the MLS. As with any list, caveats apply and should be noted on the web page.

The inaccuracy here would be what the agent claims his/her experience is.
