I believe its everyone's patriotic duty to suck as much out of the government teat as possible to help speed up the inevitable "correction".
The interest on the debt will prevent the government from delivering on its promises of freebies for the masses. Then we'll have to deal with tens of millions of disgruntled, unemployed, hungry, angry, indentured voters. That day is rapidly approaching...then what? (BTW taxing the rich, even at 100%, still isn't enough to solve the spending promises).
Literally.
It's about 250 yards away.
Literally it's 750 feet away.
Literally it's 5 football fields.
Literally it's 5 blocks away.
Literally that's one damn huge street to cross.
Literally somebody can't tell the difference between a plaza and a street.
Literally if you're in Washington and you are appointed drivers and guard detail, you use them.

I bet that's not Habib your friendly neighborhood Hindu cabbie, driving that SUV.
How many air force jets does he fly with this family listed as 'campaign staff' like a certain House Madame did when she was Speaker?
Ack! Acck!
Ah, so two wrongs make a right?
Literally if you're in Washington and you are appointed drivers and guard detail, you use them
Not if you want to cut spending, you don't.
I bet that's not Habib your friendly neighborhood Hindu cabbie
See, this is yet another way you're uninformed. How many Hindus have you ever met named Habib?
Literally it's 5 football fields.
You also can't count. Maybe 5 Arena Football fields without end zones.
Not if you want to cut spending, you don't.
Yeah, exactly. If you are trying to make a stand, you don't. Anyway, I'm sure they would make an argument about security, and it's probably not a completely unfair argument.
Amatuer! I've been known to use a rickshaw powered by 500 men to cross a sidewalk. (I don't like stepping on cracks).
Guys get your heads out of your butts, we're not in deep shit in this country, because some Representative is consuming .29 cents in gas to get from one office to the next. We've got far bigger issues.
Hint...
5,000 Corporate lobbyist, and 9,000 corporate interest action committee members, has something to do with most of our problems.
Eric Cantor, who thinks the govt. spends too much money, uses one of these to cross the street everyday:
Here's something I noticed about it that might not be obvious unless you know the setting. And it perhaps helps to explain why the story is told in still photos rather than in video.
Cantor starts his busy, busy hour in his leadership office in the Capitol. He holds a meeting or two, then heads down the stairs and into his waiting chauffeured SUV. He's off to the offices of the Committee on Financial Services, located in... the Rayburn House Office Building.
Which is across the street.
Literally.
It's about 250 yards away.
A little later in the hour-remember, this is a video of how our busy, busy leader spends from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.-Cantor heads downstairs again, into the sub-basement garage, and back into his chauffeured SUV, for another ride to... the Capitol.
Across the street.
About 250 yards away.
Now, some of you may have visited the Capitol before, and know that there's already a private, underground subway that connects the Capitol directly with the Rayburn House Office Building.
But Cantor doesn't use that. He goes from the Capitol to Rayburn and back, in a chauffeured SUV. Portal-to-portal car service for a trip across the street.

If you watch the taxpayer funded video Eric Cantor made at the above link, my favorite part is where, at taxpayer expense, someone is taking a picture of Eric Cantor while he is getting his picture taken. I think someone has a big ego...
