Romney, Who Called For Housing Crisis To Run Its Course, Accuses Obama Of Doing…That

Mitt Romney in mid October:

"As to what to do for the housing industry specifically - and are there things that you can do to encourage housing? One is, don't try and stop the foreclosure process,” said Romney. "Let it run its course and hit the bottom, allow investors to buy up homes, put renters in them, fix the homes up, and let it turn around and come back up.”

Mitt Romney one week later:

"How bad does it have to get before this administration wakes up and seriously tackles this housing catastrophe? Without bold action, millions of more families will lose their homes and our economy will continue to stall. If this administration continues to stick its head in the sand and wait for the housing crisis to run its course, I am afraid the president could end up losing his current residence in 2012.”

Its pretty much hopeless. The banks are firmly in control of the ponzi-money-printing-debt-serfdom-machine that is now America.

I'm pretty sure if a candidate ran on a promise to 'bring back the RE bubble' and somehow legislate 'house prices can only go up' he would get elected.

Romney is a typical politician, he'll promise anything to anyone just to get elected. His point of view changes with the audience, man has no character.

This is typical politics. Any political candidate will says anything and change that later. What is new? All are like that. Who you gonna vote for? LOL.

Politics is so broken I have no idea where to begin fixing it. As it is, we get a bunch of rich liars and we get to pick one to make important decisions for us.
