Right! I made ignore also ignore whole threads that are started by anyone on your ignore list.

Let me know if there's any problem with using that. One known issue is that you won't see the same number of threads on the home page or on the forum index pages. The suppressed threads are not replaced with others, so the number of visible threads will be lower.

Hmmm, I agree that it's not healthy to people just because you disagree with their views, but I also agree that no one person should dominate the discussions.

Maybe there should be some kind of "flood control" on topic creation, where you can't create 2 threads in a row in the same forum, but have to wait for someone else to create one before you can make another?

Except for the "link submissions" forum, where I want as many good links as possible and I don't care who puts them in...

How about a "Shut up Bushie!" button. If enough Liberals press it, then the post goes away. And the beauty is, a TRUE republican would never commit blaspheme by pushing that button. They will request you make a "Special" button for them. You call it, the "Why don't you evolve into something else, somewhere else Monkey boy?"
