Salesforce.com said Friday that it has signed a 400,000-square-foot lease in San Francisco worth nearly $340 million, the largest new office deal in the city in a decade.

San Fran and other large cities just keep packing more and more people in one spot. If you think commuting is bad now, wait 10-15 years.

Good for them and hopefully good for the unemployed which can be hired soon. But adding 2000 isnt going to make the difference your counting on as it relates to higher rents or SF home prices. You forget Salesforce offices are near Bart/CalTrain, so you can live as far as San Jose, EastBay or Fremont.
