Um, you didn't even have time to watch the video given how quickly you posted.

The show is all about opinions. It's a commentary show.

RT is the best News Channel on TV. You get actual, thoughtful opinions with more than 5 minutes for a quicky soundbite.

Tom Hartmann, the liberal commentator, has a show on RT as well. As does good old Max Keiser, who wages a one man war on banksters.

I always pester the cable and satellite company for RT live. Kicks the bejeesus out of the US-CNN, MSNBC, Faux News, etc.

Those dumbass networks are the reason people believe Julian Assange is a "Traitor", even though he's Australian - and he leaks everybody's dirty laundry, not just the US.

RT's Capital Account with Lauren Lyster is awesome. Just awesome.

Regarding Assange - he didn't break any laws. What he did, he embarrassed our dearest public servants, our overlords, our betters - by exposing their dealings, by showing who they really are. For that - they won't forgive them.

For outside of scandals, the biggest thing our overlords fear is being exposed and ridiculed.

Maybe not being in America or its allies is a prerequisite for reporting on the real issues and with real depth. A U.S. or U.K. based news organization can't afford to rock the boat an upset local/national government and sponsors.

RT for the US viewers is based in DC.

Ah, but are they answerable to U.S. corporate sponsors?

I think that's a better question.

Regardless, in the age of internet and youtube, there is absolutely no reason to read government press releases or the rehashes of the same through their stenographers at CNN, NBC, Fox, Limbaugh, National Propaganda Radio, InSannity, etc. All of them are owned by 5 major corporations and their true overlords at the Company (CIA).

Agreed. There is no real competition and freedom in the mass media industry. That's why Internet-based news sources and blogging, despite it's amateurish nature, is becoming increasingly important in our society.
