Why does everything good for you have to taste and feel so horrible?

"Yeah if you jog 10 miles, eat raw garlic, and forgo any red meat, you'll live 5 years longer."

Geebus.

Actually most people who exercise regularly enjoy it.

Garlic is enjoyed world wide, and as a side note the US, where over the last 20 years per capita consumption has risen from less than a pound to about 2.5 pounds

Have you ever eaten at "THE STINKING ROSE" in LA, the most popular dish is the 50 cloves of garlic half chicken.

it's awesome, I recommend it to all.

I can eat it it raw, no big deal.

Love it.

Garlic cloves are great with olive oil ,sun dried tomatoes, goat chese and crackers.

Do you eat raw veg?

You can get the active ingredient of garlic, Allicin, all activated and stabilized, without the repugnant odor of the mashed clove. And yes, it's medicinal benefits are quite potent.

That sounds horrible if it's 50 cloves of raw garlic. I couldn't eat one honestly. I hate raw garlic.

Never mind, they are doing very well without you!

Many people enjoy garlic and enjoy the restaurant.

Typically, a lot of places use aged garlic for their spices. Thus, the actual raw garlic, ground and sprinkled upon food, is not much for many of the medicinal effects. Thus, get yourself a top shelf Allicin supplement, if you want better health.

My recommendation is never experiment with exotic looking food in LA. But in SF it's ok.

50 cloves will cut drastically your risk of prolonged contact with the other sex.

I've heard that garlic is useful against viruses.

"Garlic (Allium sativum) has been shown to have antiviral activity, but the compounds responsible have not been identified."

No it's not! I like raw garlic, but it's pretty pungent.

Cancer thrives on glucose though - you know how to slow it down or even kill it? Go on a keto diet.

I knew a guy who ate raw garlic - in large amounts. He literally REEKED of garlic - comes right outta your pores. His co-workers made him change offices: way in the back, with a door that remained closed as long as he was present. Women can smell way better than men (evolved from hunter-gatherer days: women evolved to smell fire or decay better and faster than men inside caves.) They could smell this guy when he entered the parking lot, if the breeze was right.

Or just don't eat. I know that a lot of cancer patients don't want to eat, but maybe their body has a good reason for telling them not to eat.

So prescribing them marijuana to get them to eat might be exactly the wrong thing to do.

I went for a dental checkup recently. My teeth and gums were in great shape, according to the dentist. I said it's probably 60 - 70% diet, and the rest from the dental gel I use (courtesy of iTulip member Rajiv) who turned me on to it. Anyway, I said I pretty much cut out carbs and then the dentist asked if I drank milk, because milk has carbs too. She is female so I think it was a passive aggressive reaction to my discovering a diet that renders her services largely unnecessary.

Sugar and refined carbs are the devil. Grass fed beef or the flesh from other similarly pastured ruminants, fresh nutritious vegetables and good sources of saturated fats are what built the human race.

You're probably right. The small amount of Lactose in milk would be minimal in comparison to the amount in a can of soda.
