Our elementary school was also a CA distinguished school in 2007:

And now it's a "5" on Greatschools:

@Newrenter. Who disagrees . I think 95136 is a decent area too. Many of my colleagues bought in 95136 when they couldn't afford in Cupertino in 2004-2007 period. They all went underwater but the inky key is to remain employable at all times. They are successfully buying their second houses in coveted neighbourhoods now.

I'm not a realtor but I do have a vested interest I pumping up the area. I do own many SFH around here , so it helps to get renters.

You are so rich or operating in a group? Don't say you if operating in a group. If you're buying new house using previous house's appreciation, I rest my case. I know the story when thing goes south... you won't be able to run.

All my houses have 20 percent equity . I have huge line available to invest my money on a short term basis , make the profit and it comes back . Single minded my focussing on just one area gives me huge advantage of not missing out on deals or actually judging the worth of something just by driving past by it.

In another decade, Public School graduates need not apply, companies will look on resumes and ask for where you graduated. Unless it was a prep school, you're out of the running.
