It depends on when it's done. See my classic thread The abortion question answered. Turns out, both sides were wrong. That thread definitively answers the abortion issue. Since it's publication two years ago, no one has been able to demonstrate a single flaw with its reasoning or conclusion.

Surprisingly I don't disagree. I'm of the we are spiritual beings having a human experience camp. To me the question is when does the body become an aggregate with the spiritual entity. You may think I mean figuratively, I don't. I think 6 weeks sounds about right.

We aren't ghosts inhabiting carbon shells. We are organic machines that have achieved sentience. Fairy-tales are make believe, no matter how much you want them to be true. And such fairy-tales only serve to prevent adult conversations about important subject matters including abortion.

The Buddhists for one would disagree. IOW should I believe you or my lying eyes? You have the make believe part ass backwards.

Irrelevant. Hindus believe in many gods, contradicting your monotheism. Native American believe in many myths your religion has called abominations. Believing in something does not make it true.

Neither. You should do the math and accept the science. These things are indisputable. A priori logic clearly shows that monotheistic gods including the Christian one are self-contradicting. Physics also doesn't allow for any god remotely resembling the Christian god. I've proven these things on other threads; look them up. Many other people have formally disproved the standard monotheist god over the past several thousand years.

If you choose to believe in something regardless of the evidence, that is by definition a delusion. And a delusion, no matter how socially accepted, is still a mental illness. If we don't allow the mentally ill to vote, then those with delusions should not be allowed to vote. It does not matter if the delusion is that you are Napoleon or that there is a god. If anything, the latter is a more dangerous.

This guy works wonders on animals like the one in the video. The technique is always the same - build the animal's confidence, take care of any medical issues and have some patience. If the people follow the advice the turnarounds are VERY fast, usually withing a few days.

Unfortunately there are still far too many unwanted animals out there so almost all animals with such issues are killed rather than helped.

Belief has nothing to do with it.

Natural law is the foundation of the constitution and the legal system. You are trying to prove that something does not exist in the physical universe and you are right. The natural part is A priori to science.

But it don't explain why it is important to restore an animal to health and subjugate humans to the know best of government. When history clearly indicates this is not healthy.
