Agreed. Should have done the same to the slavers after the Civil War. Instead, we're still paying the price of slavery.

Also, the state should be prohibited from every profiting itself from marijuana including by directly or indirectly taxing it. This will incentive carefully considering what is banned. There should be a price to the state for banning anything so as to discourage banning things frivolously.
