They are spending so much money on this stuff in the military they have no idea what to do with it anymore. M16 bonanza in the Army, all while soldiers are going underpaid. Something to be said about that.

Don't forget about the Space Shuttle of Military Jets, the F-35. Or the Stayputnik of Military Aviation, the OV-22. It's like the Harrier, but even more dangerous. Pilots should get combat pay for routine flights.
