The retailer’s media spin doesn’t match the data this Thanksgiving weekend. The traditional kickoff to the holiday shopping season was underwhelming, at best.

I saw a stat of 11% down. Of course the Retailers are saying all is well and that it's not as bad as it looks.

It's a bit like asking a Realtor if it's a good time to buy a house.
