RIP Radio Shack. I remember as a kid buying parts and wire for my Ham Radio hobby from you.

I would bet on that. Zero chance.
They could go online only. They do have a name and could be successful at that, but I think they will go the way of Kodak.

it just boils down to what purpose did they fill in the market place. That purpose is gone.

if you made buggy whips and buggies no long existed, I don't care what management scheme you pull out of your ass it tain't gunna work.

Seriously, when was the last time you bought either one of those???

Last time I needed anything like that, it was for a furnace. I think it was because we had an exceptionally windy day with a weird wind gust, or something like that, but I needed on of those furnace temperature sensing things that opens up your control circuit if it get too hot in the wiring area.

And my local electronics retailer had it, but I doubt that Radio Shack would have.

I don't need these all the time, but when I do it makes a difference. I never spent a lot of money at that place, maybe its why they are closing down.
