Something weird is going on. Not only was a post lost, but also the you have to edit a post and past in the same text to get YouTube links to work. They are stripped out the first time a post is submitted.

could a thread moderator have deleted them? you should get an email telling you that though.
youtube links are tricky, because they use an iframe, and in general iframes are dangerous (they would let you take over the page and do anything) so are stripped out _unless_ they are youtube videos. but there could be a bug there.
Did Patrick.net lose a few posts yesterday, March 5, between 7:32 pm and 11:11 pm? I'm not seeing one of mine that debunks the Medieval warming period on the thread http://patrick.net/?p=1278583
