Anyway... It's left me with a really strange feeling. Like, what lists are we on?
That's just the tip of the iceberg. On the other hand, they have so much data, they don't know what to do with it, and computers can only go so far in organizing it.
We're working on this project regarding something we did a few years ago in Tehran. As part of that, we were looking for references to a Jerusalem Post article about my husband going to a Tehran medical conference. What comes up is some WikiLeaks diplomatic cable talking about my husband being in Tehran and what he was doing there.
OMG! What the heck is that all about? Did they actually check him out? A private citizen doing legitimate business within the academic community?
On the bright side.... Had something gone wrong while he was in Iran, I suppose it might have been a good thing that our government knew he was there...
