This is one reason I never use Google: extremely dishonest results, all selected to suit their agenda.
The other reason is that using Google is devastating to your privacy.
A Facebook and Google partner that uses artificial intelligence to compile data from tracking people’s web history has put together a report that outlines ways to mentally program people to get the Coronavirus vaccine. NATIONAL FILE has obtained a copy of the cynical report from Resonate, a company based in Reston, Virginia in the Washington, D.C. area that goes out of its way to denounce “racism” and employs executives who previously worked for the Washington Post, AOL and other corporations. The report is called Moving The Needle: How To Reach The Vaccine-Hesitant And Resistant. The report gives tips on how to manipulate people’s values of “safety,” “reputation and public image,” “social clout,” and even their religion and shopping habits to coerce them to get the vaccine. The report explicitly states, “DRAW THEM TO VACCINATION SITES BASED ON THEIR SHOPPING PREFERENCES.” The report also compiles information on the children of vaccine-hesitant people and vaccine resisters.
Resonate’s listed partners include Facebook and Google. Resonate acknowledges that its data collection allows its clients to “gain a deeper understanding of every consumer who engages with your digital media presence across all platforms including Facebook, Linkedin, etc.” This Facebook and Google partner has used people’s personal information to build an extremely creepy profile of the “Vaccine-Hesitant” community. And Resonate makes it clear that they are tracking people’s “web traffic” in order to build their research. Here are some screenshots from Resonate’s website describing how they get their information from “web traffic” and how they partner with Facebook, Google, Oracle, and others.

Well, DuckDuckGo (DDG) can eat a bag of dicks too.
I'd gladly switch to Yandex from Qwant, but I can't figure out how to get Yandex to stop presenting about half of the results in Russian.

Remember when Google's motto was "Do no Evil"?
Then they decided, that dropping acid would make their company smarter. But I think they all dropped so much Acid, they became demented and deranged.
It's amazing that Amazon is LESS useful a decade on. Until you consider it is purposeful - to drive people to their Chinese Knockoffs.
Google is so full of shit. You can use every keyword and add "negative keywords" to anything remotely political, and guaranteed to get factchecked Bullshit or SPLC or whatever.

Almost all of the senators supposed to be holding Big Tech accountable are bankrolled by Google
11 of the 12 senators at this week's subcommittee hearing are accepting cash from Google.
Google is horrific. It's a sad irony that we're looking at Russia for reliable search engines. To all you smart people out there... how hard would it be to create a reliable search engine that gives good results and dosen't sell you out?

Google censors shopping searches for Kyle Rittenhouse t-shirts
A search in the shopping tab shows zero results.
By Cindy Harper
The phrase “Kyle Rittenhouse shirt” has joined Google Search’s list of banned shopping search terms – this is despite the fact Rittenhouse was found not guilty of all charges filed against him.
On the “Shopping” tab of Google Search, “Kyle Rittenhouse shirt” does not bring back any results. The results page displays a message stating: “Your search – Kyle Rittenhouse shirt – did not match any shopping results.”
Since Kittenhouse was acquitted of all charges, which included first-degree reckless homicide, first-degree intentional homicide, and attempted first-degree intentional homicide, the sales of shirts showing support for Kyle Rittenhouse and self-defense have sky-rocketed. ...
As noted by The Blaze: “Google has no issues selling shirts with serial killers such as Jeffrey Dahmer, the cannibal sex offender who killed at least 17 men in Wisconsin, John Wayne Gacy, who was convicted of murdering at least 33 young men and boys, and Ted Bundy, who raped and murdered at least 20 young women and girls.
“On Google shopping, you can purchase clothes featuring Che Guevara, a homophobic and racist Marxist revolutionary; Pol Pot, leader of the Marxist Khmer Rouge that killed more than 1.7 million people through work, starvation, and torture in four years; Joseph Stalin, the Russian communist despot believed to have killed 20 million; and Chairman Mao, the Chinese communist tyrant that killed 45 million in four years.”
“Kyle Rittenhouse shirt” has only been banned on the shopping tab.

@richwicks already mentioned, it’s not difficult and does not need lots of money either. It’s simply environment around doesn’t allow to do it and run sustainably.
