If Trump wins the election, put all the money into the market because it's going to be huge!
I think there will be a lot of investment losers though.
Don't forget there's a whole generation of investors who have spent the last 8 to 10 years investing on the knowledge that the Government was picking the winners and losers for them.
When we get back to free markets, not every day trader or 401K investor will be trading like a Rock Star.
Folks will have to learn to invest from experience not based on the sitting presidents agenda, and decipher winners from reading his tea leaves.

I think at first it'll be "you can do no wrong", just like every time until it levels off. WIth economy growing everywhere, it'll be low hanging fruit. Just got to get in before the market does it's rally. When housing crashed and stocks collapsed that was an opportunity of a lifetime to invest, I think another one is coming and this one doesn't require a crash to precede it.
This is just a hunch and a personal opinion but.

He'll reduce the browbeating Democrats do to business, letting business grow unhindered. He'll reduce taxes, which will increase income and spending growing economy and profits. He'll make trade deals with Russia, opening up new markets to US corporations. Stock market will make everyone who has anything in it look like a millionnaire!
Now if Democrat wins, buy yourself a lot of ammo because the way Democrats are running this country, you'll need it for the future economy.
This is gonna be one big election.
