Trump sued Univision, the biggest Spanish language broadcaster in the United States, for $500 million last summer. Trump and the CEO of Univision, Randy Falco, issued peacemaking statements. "I have known Donald Trump for many years in both a personal and professional capacity and we are pleased to settle this matter and move forward," Falco said. "I'm glad we are able to put these differences behind us," Trump said. A Univision spokeswoman declined any further comment.

It looks like some Shenanigans is goin on in Ohio.

There are 1,268,776 registered Republican voters, yet the results on the country maps shows a lot of Kasich precints reporting it looks like most of the state. Yet they are only reporting 10% or so of the votes as being in.

Where in the hell are all of those other votes, and why aren't they showing them? IF they aren't in, then why are they trying to give the impression that those counties are all in?

Ohio or not, Trump is winning everywhere else tonight. Big night for the Trumpening.
#trumpening

8:24: Rubio suspends his campaign while trying to reinvent himself:

8:23: Cruz discovering voters are railing against the conservative industrial complex as well:

Yes doubling down on conservative values, when the Voters were using Liberals/Conservatives/Establishment all interchagably was a stupid mistake.

Trump never went the conservative route they thought he was and tried to beat him to the path. It was a stupid mistake. People liked him when they thought he was an ousider. He started speaking tounges with the Conservative Establishment trying to exorcize Trump.

He's not very Smart Trump said it. Didn't he? Trump told you he wasn't worth a shit. Well OK Trump was nice, he just called him a loser.

There's something supicious happening in Ohio.

So far only about 200K of the 1m voters have been counted and the Ohio results just in has been at 12% for the last hour, it just went to 15%.
It might have something to do with the Governor ordered the polls opened until 8:30 due to a lot of interstate construction.

But that's an awful low number of the over all vote sample. Ohio could still supprise us later on. I remember Trump on March 3rd Tuesday vote had one of those states well in the bag all evening long then after 11pm it just flipped to Cruz. This could happen to any Trump state right now other than Florida. There's still a lot of uncounted votes out there everywhere. But expecially Ohio.

285   Tenpoundbass   2016 Mar 15, 5:42pm

If this was the general election Hillary would be in deep trouble right now in Florida. Trump and her are neck and neck.
This has been unprecedented in the Primary season. Her numbers being this poor against Sanders in a point and click campaign an easy no brainer. She should have blown Trump away in a Blue state like this.
Obama crushed everyone in both last elections. Huge numbers.
Florida might be a glimpse of what is to come in California.

286   Tenpoundbass   2016 Mar 15, 5:53pm

Match up smatch up.
Trump isn't even supposed to be here right now.

287   Tenpoundbass   2016 Mar 15, 5:56pm

75% of the GOP exit pols said they'll suport Trump in the General election against Hitler Clingon.
You shave 75% accross the board from every primary and give it to Trump he trounces Hillary even with 100% of Bernie's votes.
Which many Sanders supporters have already said they'll vote for Trump over Hillary.

288   MisdemeanorRebel   2016 Mar 15, 8:47pm

Over 40% in every state except Ohio, where he got in at 36%, just a few points behind the incumbent governor of Ohio, Kasich.

Rubio a fringe candidate, getting SINGLE DIGITS IN EVERY STATE except Florida, which he is an incumbent Senator to boot.

BTW, Kasich is not even on the ballot in several states, inc. Pennsylvania. This was his only win, which would be inexcusable if he lost.

289   Tenpoundbass   2016 Mar 15, 8:59pm

thunderlips11 says

It's inexcusible that he stayed in just to meddle with the Democratic process. He has zero chance of getting enough votes or delegates to even be a contender in a brockered convention.
This whole convention brocker nonsense is bull and needs to end. Most voters said they wont support a convention with a different outcome than Trump has going in not as long as he's in the lead in both votes and delegates.

Yep.

Cruz did not win a single state.
Rubio did not win a single state and indeed outside of Florida did not even get into double digits.
Kasich barely registered outside of Ohio, nowhere exceeding 20% and running single digit percentages also in two or three.

291   MisdemeanorRebel   2016 Mar 15, 9:05pm

Oh shit, Trump is talking about ditching Utah debate for AIPAC. Brilliant! Dan Scavino is political advisor of the decade, maybe Century.

He's just doing what the media and the narative at the debates said he would suck at.

That is being a leader. Trump knows what is more important what will do the country the most good. Meeting with AIPAC or setting Cruz up another penis joke at the debate?

It's going to suck to be Kasich and Cruz during the debate if it's still on.
And it would suck for them both if it's not on. But Trump did say after the last debate, "No more debates, can we all agree we've already said everything there is to say. They don't want to debate, they want to have circus. I'm done for the Primary season. "

With four candidates.

296   MisdemeanorRebel   2016 Mar 15, 9:39pm

Missouri is one of the few states Cruz could have won tonight, another "Southern Plains State" full of Dominionist whackos.

The calendar ahead sucks for Cruz. There's only two Republican primaries this month - Utah, which he might win, and the Virgin Islands.

After that, April is NY, California, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Delaware, Pennsylvania, etc. places where Cruz has absolutely no Chance of winning.

Shhhhh... the Bernie voters have a serious issue understanding math...

Nope, Bernie voters understand that it only helps Trump if he's the 2nd choice of some of the other candidates' supporters. Which, according to polls, he's not. As the field narrows, it's just as likely that Trump starts losing states with 40% instead of winning them with 36%.

301   tatupu70   2016 Mar 16, 8:38am

Ironman says

Wait, didn't you tell me a day or two ago Trump was only at 30%??? Want to tell me his percentages from last night?

Nope. I said he was at 35%. You posted an outlier poll that showed him at 53% so I posted a similar outlier poll that showed him at 30% to show you why you don't pick outlier polls and pretend they are accurate.

He did perform a bit better last night at 41% or so. Definitely better than his super Tuesday showing. Still not on track to get a majority of the delegates, however. I'd say it remains better than 50/50 that it's an open convention. I can't wait.

302   MisdemeanorRebel   2016 Mar 16, 8:44am

tatupu70 says

He did perform a bit better last night at 41% or so.

Trump won the state with the most delegates and winner-take-all by just shy of 50% running against 3 opponents, one of whom is an incumbent Senator there - by almost 20 pts. Despite tens of millions in a blitz negative ad campaign while he spent trivial amounts.

Kasich is only there as a vote splitter, but that's less useful as the approaching states are winner-take-all.
Cruz is becoming the desperate #NeverTrump loser candidate, but the calendar ahead is almost all Yankee states where he'll get clobbered.

Remember folks, Trump is hardly spending any money to win these victories!

303   zzyzzx   2016 Mar 16, 8:50am

I am going to boldly predict that even with Maryland's closed primary, Trump will win here and take all delegates.

Ironman says

Funny how that works out, as more bodies drop out, he gets higher percentages? How come the other 3 dudes haven't caught him or passed him last night?

Who dropped out? Carson? Bush? Fiorina? Maybe some of Carson's voters came to Trump. Let's see what happens now that Rubio is out.

You realize Trump wins Urban, Northern states like Mass, Nevada, and Florida (aka South Long Island) by bigger percentages over his opponents than in most Southern and Plains states.

Cruz is the Dominionist White Supremacist candidate, not Trump.

My daughter's BF said he was going to vote for Cruz because he was butt hurt at the media narrative of Trump.
NOt because he belived in Cruz. But when it counted, he couldn't be bothered with voting.

Which I respect him even more now. Never vote for someone you don't believe in. But I did respect him some for picking Cruz over Rubio.
If he was voting against Trump then he would have said he supported Rubio as he had the best shot. But he said he though Cruz was more honest.
I gues in the end that wasn't enough to get him to the poll to vote against someone.

Great Kid!

I wouldn't go that far. He definitely had a great night in Mass. Nevada is an outlier because of his casino roots. Florida is retired Long Island.

Let's see where Rubio and Kasich voters go.

I'll remember to ask you in November if you're crying in your corn flakes when Trump loses (if he even makes it that far)

NY Poll from earlier this month has him in the 40s, PA poll in the high 30s. Kasich is NOT on the ballot in PA, by the way, and Rubio dropped out.

NE secular MOR republican is not going to vote for Dominionist Cruz unless they are an NRO reader. Again, 20% of the GOP voter base at best.

Kasich gets single digits and rarely gets into the teens in race after race. He's only there as a vote splitter. He flat out said Amnesty in 100 days, which keeps him at 20% of the Country Club Cheap Labor Republicans.

High 30s there will lose.

What ever happened to the Clinton trial?

I wonder if they will do it after she is elected. The Clinton's could set a precedent for being married presidents and being married presidents who were impeached.

As if that wouldn't be an indication of where this country is headed?

The GOP establishment in Washington has already said that Clinton is their plan B.
If She beats Trump in the general election. Then the GOP and the Establishment players get to live to fight another day.
So until Trump can get elected we've heard the last of HIllaries war crimes and treason trial.

Trump and Bernie are the only two authentic anti-establishment candidates running. If you vote for anybody but them, you are voting for the status quo: Endless Useless Regime Changes and Drone Bombings, Outsourcing, Soc Sec cuts, Handouts to Drug Companies, etc.

BTW, many states have a clause where a candidate for one party cannot appear again on the ballot if they lose a nomination or have appeared on the ballot that year under another party.

I think it's called "The Spoiler Rule" where enacted.

319   MisdemeanorRebel   2016 Mar 16, 10:25am

Also, don't forget the Loyalty Pledge, which all candidates were required to sign.

Christie:

So the national party required everyone of us as a condition of being in the debates to sign a loyalty pledge to whoever the nominee was going to be. Now, those very same people who made us sign the loyalty pledge are now saying, well, maybe we shouldn't follow what the voters decide to do. I find that ironic and somewhat hypocritical.
