Didn't you ever wonder whether Patrick was one or more of these guys, for the sake of stimulating arguments ?
Indigenous, CIC, FortWayne, Shrek, TPB, etc.
Not saying that I think he is, but it crosses my mind though every now and then, when they seem especially unreal. Would it be that surprising ? Not even all that unethical really, because a troll is a troll is a troll, regardless of how real they are. IT's kind of a given that they might not be real, or that they are unreal to varying degrees.
I don't think he'd waste the time. Maybe Patrick is into AI and CIC is is a side project bot. I don't think Dan would have spend so much time arguing with a bot of his own creation.

I would have two instances of the bot argue with each other. It takes a machine to beat a machine.

You would be king of pnet for the week if you can make cic rack up 200 posts arguing with a bot.
Step 1: Post something people find offensive via a fictional persona.
Step 2: Let the offended reply and attacks your straw man.
Step 3: Bring in people who hate the attackers to attack them.
Step 4: Sit back and watch your ad revenue skyrocket as the flame war intensifies.
Step 5: If the flame war dissipates, post more offensive material.
Sure beats working for a living. Patrick, you should monetize this on PatNet. There's plenty of rage and butthurt to fuel click-bait.
